BOWHUNTING Buffalo

I recommend to have a look at Dr. Ashby research and tests on actual trophy size buffaloes (https://www.ashbybowhunting.org/ashby-reports), with penetration enhances arrows (all penetration enhancement elements in place; see the attached 2019 update), and how a properly set up arrow can make up for a certain amount of poundage difference (e.g. a 65# bow, with a penetration enhanced arrow system, is equivalent to "higher"# bow shooting none-penetration enhanced arrows).
This article is also interesting: https://www.grizzlystik.com/Ashby-On-Momentum-Kinetic-Energy-Arrow-Penetration-W19.aspx
My two cents.

I have a question for our friends PH's about Cape Buffalo arrow REAR shot placement as indicated above.

Given the potential "cunning-unfriendly" nature of the beast, and the tendency that once wounded, it might turn "uncooperative" during the whole process of trying to down it; DO YOU REALLY RECOMMEND TO SHOOT A BUFFALO IN THE A....S WITH AN ARROW?

Just kidding...................
