Just saw on YouTube, some really interesting clips, few leopard, couple with dogs, one unfortunate initial shot that ended with a charge and dead cat at the camera man’s feet…after he fell back. (Around minute 17) and of course, lots of big ele action. Long video, but it’s just packed action.

For those who have spent much time hunting leopard with hounds, curious if this is the norm, back of a cruiser with shotguns. Seems effective, just different than I expected.

It has become the norm strictly in Botswana.
Only country I’ve ever seen it in.

I believe it’s because of the terrain and not the normal tall trees etc…. Idk

Hounds in Zim and Moz I have never seen the run down in truck method. I think they can keep the cat at bay a lot longer.

Wondering what happened at 35:30. PH looks like he got tore up with the brush? Why were they driving the truck right through the brush?
