A couple of AH members asked me when I will be signing my book, “Sixty Years A Hunter,” at the SCI convention in Reno next month. The days and times I’ll be at the Safari Press booth are:

Wednesday 10:30-11:30 am
Thursday 4:30-5”30 pm
Friday 10:30-11:30 am

Weatherby Award recipient David Hanlin will be signing his “Around the World and Then Some” (which I helped write) at the same times.

I assume the booth will have my other books that Safari Press published, including:

Arnold Alward’s “The Heck With It, I’m Going Hunting” (2003);

Watson Yoshimoto’s “Yoshi, The Life And Travels Of An International Trophy Hunter” (2003);

my own “Royal Quest, The Hunting Saga Of H.I.H. Prince Abdorreza Of Iran” (2004);

and Hubert Thummler’s “Wind In My Face, The Shikars And Safaris Of A Cazador de Mexico.” (2005).

My “The History of Safari Club International” was published by SCI and not Safari Press, but I’d be happy to sign your copy if you bring it to the booth. It may or may not be on sale at the convention.

I look forward to meeting other AH members. Stop and say hello. I'm the overweight tall old man with the grey hair and mustache to match.

Bill, Thanks for keeping us posted. I'll definitely come by on Thursday. I always look forward to meeting members in person, I feel like I get to know people through their posts but have never actually had the opportunity to meet them... so it's always a pleasure for me.

I look forward to it.

I have an unfired T rex 577 if anyone is interested in acquiring it . Absolutely spotless, flawless and well kept . It's rare as it gets . Mouth watering ? Let me know if you feel like making an offer .

I need to know if this is legit. Photo with today's paper would do it.

Thanks

I just saw Budsgunshop.com has both the guide gun and the African for $1150. FWIW - I bought both and decided to use the Guide gun - I restocked it in a Bell and Carlson stock and I added the Alaska arms floor plate to add a round. I wanted the shorter barrel as I will use a suppressor. I wont go lower than $1100, but I will ship it and no sales tax.

Let me know if you are interested
