And we can organise bear hunt with dogs in driven hunt. Obviously is more dangerous, hunters need to have skills and experience on moving targets.

I did a driven-bear hunt last fall in an area outside of Sibiu, in the Fagaras Mountains. Highly recommend this to anyone who can swing the hunt. Incredible hunting in an incredible place. Biggest bears in Europe.

can somebody give me advice, as to the size of these CIC scores in feet?
i.e. how big is a 400, 450, 500 pts bear in length (hide measurements)?

For us American I think a better understanding of the CIC system in relation to bear size would help the AH community understand exactly what you are selling for x$. I read a brief description but has notes of antlers and such, so kinda vague.

Is quite difficult for me to give any precise conversions. Sometime a 450 CiC bear can be 8ft
For most North American hunters, bear size is much easier to visualise in feet than in the European classification.
As a practical field guide based on our experience in Romania I can try this conversion, I hope is useful

• Up to 400 class – approximately 6.5-7.5 ft bear.
• 400–500 class – approximately a 7.8–8.2 ft bear.
• 500+ class – above 8.2 ft bear
• This comparison is intended to help North American hunters better understand the size of the bears we are discussing in the field.
