To keep in Good Standing unless the Sako needs to be Sold.
A 9lb Jeffery, you kinda know what to expect, but I bring up the 540 Normas= 7000ft/lbs. ?
It was a few years back, but that was the only outing with it. 6 Rounds,?

I still have regrets about not buying a custom Vektor Magnum action, laminate stock,scope mount, Leupold stock ,dies. Brass, bullets ,some handliads.

Reason rifle maker wanted it away " he just had to get the recoil thumper out " it was bit too much of the good thing .
Price 10 K Nok.

Being the happy owner of a CZ 550 in 500 Jeffery that weighs 12 lbs with scope, a 9lb 500 Jeffery would be a little on the "stiff" side as far as recoil goes for me.

Well stated, a 12#. CZ 550 in .500 Jeffery with scope is about right.

Mine, sans scope, at 10.9 pounds was just a handful after 3 rounds. Somebody got a good deal on a Stopping Rifle when I sold it.

A 9.5 pound .500 Jeffery, even a Sako 85, No Thanks.

Have followed your extensive posts about your .500 Jeffery, load development, accuracy tests, hunting, including all the gunsmithing to assure feeding.

A proper affordable stopping Rifle, .500 Jeffery in the CZ 550.

It's certainly subjective to the individual, etc .. Just curious what the weight is on your .500 Nitro, if you care to share

About 10 lbs i think. The 500j is 9.5 and the 505 is 11.6. Just got another 585 that is 10.9, should be quite lively.
