I just ordered so Factory Seconds bullets from Midway. They are 500 gr lead core soft nose bullets and are marked Made in USA. The only maker that I'm aware of that makes bullets such as this is Hornady. These appear to be regular construction bullets - not premium style. Are there any other makers of such bullets in the US or can I presume with a high degree of confidence that these are Hornady bullets? These are just for load development and range time. I have some Woodleighs (hopefully they will be available again, soon) for actual hunting use.

Maybe Hawk?

Midway website lists the bullets as bonded, so I'm guessing that they are Hornadys. For the other expenses involved with range time I guess $3/shot isn't tooo bad.

Midway seems to be the Hornady outlet for their seconds. I've bought quite a few over the years and find that typically, the only defect I can find is discoloration. The .458 325gr I bought recently were their FTX bullet, and some of them had issues with the polymer tip as well as discoloration. Sorted through them to separate the off-kilter tips so they don't get loaded for a tube magazine, small percentage of the total, and stuffed a bunch into some brass. Shoot great for significantly less than regular price. Don't think an animal will know the bullet wasn't polished as brightly as it was supposed to be.

Attached is a photo of 4 .474" 500 gr bullets. L to R, Swift A-Frame, Midway 2nd; Hornady DGX, Woodleigh RN SP. The Midway bullet most closely resembles the Hornady except the nose is slightly more pointed and there are cuts in the point similar to the notches in Winchester Power Points- to facilitate expansion. I don't know who made the Midway bullets, fortunately I have the Woodleighs for actual hunting use- the Midways appear to be close enough that they will work for load development and regulation, although if anyone recognizes them as a particular brand, I appreciate the information.

I have 9 boxes of .474 TSX, 500 gr. bullets. 20ea. Per box that I would sale. If interested let me know

I think non-bonded- the box says nothing about bonding. Secondly, it says the jacket is copper clad steel. I'm not sure that lead bonds well to steel. Photo of box attached.

Jake, Sorry to bug you again. I was wondering if you could share a. couple actual pics of this crossbow with me?

Xpedition Archery USED Scrapeline390X Sniper Gray Crossbow XACW1001 - Light Wear - Needs Bolt/Arrow Guide Spring UA5689

If it is in a decent shape, would you be willing to sell it for $100 shipped? IS it missing the retention spring that goes over the bolt?
Thank you Ferenc

Good morning John, I just read your setup procedure for the northstar duplicator ator. I found it very hand and I did learn some things. I have the same machine and I am having a problem i can not figure out and was hoping you could shed some light on the subject.
