458 win mag loaded with Barnes TSX 350 grain

I have been range testing with my 458 win mag loaded with 350 grain TSX bulllets. They are shooting at 2516 fps grouping less than 3 inches at 300 yards. I’ll be hunting plains game with them this fall. When traveling I always like to be prepared to chase an own use buffalo or hippo. What’s this groups thoughts on loading some 325 CEB solids to pair with the TSX and call it good? I really don’t want a bunch of different ammo with me.

Yes......... If you can get close POI at 50 yards, say less than an inch, I would say good to go. I would think you could get a decent POI with the 325s.......... But if not, maybe look at the newer 400 CEB Solid too........... Either one of those would accomplish what you want to do.
