375 H&H suppressor?

I'm a thunderbeast fan so I went with the magnus and it's great. I chose the S variant for a good balance of length/weight/suppression. They also offer a K variant which is even lighter and shorter if you prefer.

I have a Hybrid 46 that works well and a Raptor 10. The Raptor is a reflex suppressor. Both work very well.

I have a 46 also, I need to shoot it thru it and see what it's like. I was kinda hoping for something about 5 ounces lighter though.

I have a Banish 46 Ti. 8" 15 ounces. works well.

I use the Dead Air Primal. Most important thing is that it be hub compatible.

The AB Raptor looked really interesting until I saw the 22” minimum barrel restriction for 375. That pretty much killed any interest I had.

I'm using the Silencerco 46 in the short length and I'm very happy with it. I use the same can on my 400 H&H

If you end up with a 45 caliber can change the front plate on it to a 40 caliber or smaller diameter to get better sound suppression

You might consider putting a recoil reducer in the rear stock to help balance it out

Generally, the extra weight in a 375 is welcome

I have a question- What’s a good 375 rifle that accepts a can? I prefer synthetic stock over wood
I don't care for one on a .375, but an R8 would be an ideal platform for one. The total rifle length is already practically carbine length with a full length barrel thanks to the short action. Certainly creates a relatively handy rifle in a suppressed 6.5x55 configuration.

Ruger Guide rifle in 375 ruger is a synthetic stock with a 20 inch barrel. Perfect host. Ask me how I know. :)

Accurate, reasonably priced and readily available. Add an Alaska Arms floor plate and get 4 down and one up. Change the trigger spring to a Ernie Gunsmith for 9.99 and get a 2.5 pound trigger. Super easy. 5 minutes.

Don't like the stock? Bell and Carlson makes a stock I really like. Drops in. Get one with a recoil reducer from B&C, takes 2 weeks, balances out the suppressor nicely. About $450. With a scope and a suppressor, you will have a 10.5 pound rifle, perfect weight for this cartridge. Makes it recoil friendly.

Matte stainless steel, synthetic stock. Exactly the rifle I want.

Not as sexy as a 375 H&H , but kills stuff just as well.

Dear Red Leg, I talked to my Blaser supplier yesterday and asked for a quote for the .375. I had intended to buy the .416, but he can't fit my configuration. .416 rem mag can fit on R8 when it has semi weight construction, but it is max and very tight.
Do you have experience with the 375 H&H muffler? How does the recoil behave and does it significantly reduce the sound level?
Thank you

Greetings Samson. I dont have experience with a silenced .375, and I am interested how it behaves, what is the recoil and sound reduction with your silencer?
Thank you

Nope. I personally have no interest in a suppressor that would be applied to a rifle used for DG. Open sights back up are a must for me.

Yhe majority of the time, having a barrel cut-down/shortened and threaded is a straightforward procedure. Obviously not all barrels can be done and length still matters in getting a full powder burn and velo. But it hasn't been an expensive procedure when I have had it done.

I wouldn't think a .375 needs more than a 20 inch barrel to get a full powder burn...maybe less.

Recoil is significantly reduced, even more so when you add the brake that mine is capable of. I'm not a fan of heavy recoil and it makes my 375 very manageable. Sound suppression is also good. Not the quietest rifle given the larger bore, but much more pleasant to shoot. I'm very pleased with the outcome of my build.

I'll take the Vortex scope cover you have listed in the Pay it Forward thread.
