My bull on the bottom was just shy of 44”, bosses like bowling balls and grown together, worn to ivory in the hooks. Can’t imagine I’ll ever top it..

Those bulls that are rubbers and just polish their bosses smooth, special kind of beast and love them. Hope to cross paths with one some day…ideally broken up a bit too, but any polished-smooth bull is a true trophy.

This bull had the biggest noggin of any buff I’ve seen or shot. The PH noted it right off, and was wider than we thought as well because of it. Orbital sockets were 2+” wider than my other bull and just shy of 40” even with the one horn broke short. Super cool old bull, and still in decent shape and decent amount of hair for his almost entire lack of teeth.

My first and only bull. I’ve hunted buffalo cows since. He came in at 42” and a wee bit.

Do you mind me asking what auction you are referencing? I'm not in the market for any of those rifles...just curious.

Good morning from Montana.

I'm looking at a post from 2018 where you were looking for a lefty Winchester in .375 H&H Magnum. I'm selling mine. My email is [redacted] in the event that you're still searching for a unicorn.

Best,

Kelly Palmer
