Concession: open system (Please enquire should you want to know more - we are not allowed according to reserve protocol to state the reserve name, but it is the largest unfenced open area in South Africa for elephant hunting.
Size: 140 000 acres, but open to millions of acres
1 x 1 hunting
Species: 40lbs Elephant Bull
The reserve allows up to 10% grace.
Hunting days: 10 Nights, 9 full hunting days
Accommodation: rustic tented camp set on a dry riverbed, hear the hyenas call from your tent, enjoy your own private chef cooking great African cuisine and sit around the rustling of the campfire.
Price: $ 36 500
50% deposit payable to secure quota and dates
Airport: Pick up and drop off included - Eastgate Airport Hoedspruit

To my understanding as it was explained in South Africa you are allowed to shoot a bull up to 40#- of course there is a 10% guesstimate leeway so technically it can be officially 44# and still keep it…


So this hunt you will be looking for a 35-40# bull, which is a very nice bull imo, and all the convenience of hunting SA

Wish I would pull the trigger. This is a great deal. Still might. I was there in August for a double Buffalo hunt. Lots of beautiful elephant bulls up to one broken that was 100lber a year or two ago. Beautiful place if it’s the same which I am guessing. The tented camp is wild, lions at night two prides, leopard sawing and the hyena getting into trouble in camp. Not Tanzania but a vast place. I haven’t hunted the “wilds” of africa but this has to be almost the next best thing. My buffalo were not spot and stalk.

Apologies this was an oversight and error on our side.

We have a few packages available for next year 2027/28 SEASON which runs from 1 April 2027 until 31 March 2028, namely a 25lbs, 30lbs, 40lbs and 55lbs, but relevant to this discussion I will discuss:
a 30lbs and a 40lbs
The 30lbs exportable elephant package is $36 500 for a 7 day hunt
The 40lbs exportable elephant package is $47 500 for a 10 day elephant hunt.

We receive a grace of 10% so with the 30lbs elephant you can expect to hunt anything from 25lbs -35lbs and with the 40lbs you can expect to hunt anything from 35lbs to 45lbs

Due to our oversight and this error in posting we are willing to offer the 40lbs exportable elephant for 7 days at the 30lbs package price until Sunday evening whereafter we will remove the post and repost it correctly. This is a very good deal. We apologize for this and it really was just a human error by my admin lady.

Do you ever get non trophy/ non exportable elephant quota for these areas and if so what is the cost. Thank you

Up until the end of August all these hunts were for non-exportable elephants.
We then received the news that our minister has signed off on our cities quota making them exportable.
Meaning that from now we will only have exportable elephants on quota.
