These are quite collectable. Back when I was in college in the early seventies and guiding duck hunters every day of the season. we had a pile of cork and even some factory carved wooden decoys mildewing away out behind the main camp. Everyone had switched over to plastics of one type or another. Upon returning home after my first overseas tour, I went racing down to the old camp to see if they were still there. Naturally, they were long since gone, and I am sure some are still circulating at gun and collectable shows or the internet to this day. These represent real treasures for someone.

Question is, why you ain’t using ‘em?

Thats a heck of a rig! I absolutely love old wood/cork decoys.

I'll take the Canvasbacks if no one else has spoken for them.... $350 + shipping correct?

Ooooh those need a working home! Beautiful!

They look pretty peppered !:ROFLMAO:

Hey, thanks for the segway into a benefit of cork decoys.

That's the cork. These are gunning not show decoys.
Most have only been hunted a few times.

That stated, cork will absorb pellets that will sink plastic decoys.

Old hunters say, "If if looks like a duck and floats like a duck, it's either a duck or cork..."

I'm guessing the Canvasbacks have been spoken for since I haven't heard from the op...

Sorry, Normally I post instructions to send me a DM with one's name (not moniker) and address if one desires to buy or if they have questions. I see I did not post that in this thread. My mistake.

Send me your contact info via DM and I'll look into boxing and shipping.

I’ll give you a free bump. I carved this cork Blue-winged Teal, my first, some years ago. Intent was to put him in a rig of plastic ones and hunt over him during early teal season, but he’s been on the shelf ever since. Hopefully he’ll see the marsh one day.

Hi everyone,
The canvasbacks are spoken for.
I have yet to figure out how to best pack them for shipping. That may take a while…

If anyone is interested in the blue bills or mallards please send a DM. Hopefully you live within driving distance. :)

Do you mind me asking what auction you are referencing? I'm not in the market for any of those rifles...just curious.

Good morning from Montana.

I'm looking at a post from 2018 where you were looking for a lefty Winchester in .375 H&H Magnum. I'm selling mine. My email is [redacted] in the event that you're still searching for a unicorn.

Best,

Kelly Palmer
