That's not an overly expensive upgrade. A CZ 550 .375 in good used condition goes for more than that by a bit. I'd say that is a fair price as well without seeing it.Definitely needs a new trigger
Those triggers are adjustable for over travel, pull weight and take up. Go to CZ America website for instructions. That is a good price.Definitely needs a new trigger
I believe the CZ550 in 9.3 is on the standard/medium receiver, not the Safari Magnum, so is a bit different. The standard was used for 30-06 and 300Win sized cartridges. Still a good price if the bore, wood and metal are in good shape.

I was really amazed the first time I shot my Husky 9.3x62. It a light for caliber rifle with a fine hard ass plastic butt plate. I actually fired a box offhand before I quit. I only went to establish POA.
With that said, these rifles can have stout recoil depending on total gun weight once a scope is added. Nothing overwhelming, but the 9.3 is a bit above 30-06 power level.
I think the trigger on these CZ rifles is just fine once adjusted to your preference.
HI surgeon
Congrats!! The Std lenght CZ550 and the BRNO ZKK600 are, in my opinion the best actions for the 9,3x62 for a handloader. I say this because the magazine lenght is 88 mm. More than a standard M98 Mauser set up for the 30-06. This magazine lenght allows cartridges of up to 87 mm, 3.425", ideal to take advantage of the looooong standard 9,3x62 freebore!
Weight is just about right in the 9.3x62 caliber.I have a CZ 550 FS in 6.5x55 -- not really a large caliber. More medium rare. But the rile points well and it is pretty accurate. Here is the best group from my first ladder test. I am still figuring out a good hand-load, but this (subject to confirmation) seems like it might be a good starting place. CZ's 550 FS's are a little heavier than comparable hunting rifles in the same caliber from, say, Tikka. But mine really does well. For a larger caliber a little extra weight might not be a bad thing -- although everyone has their own preferences there. [Insert usual disclaimers about doing your own load testing and measurements and not trusting my notes etc. etc]
