If you are a regular on THIS site with a good reputation and you have a Pre 1964 Winchester Model 70 chambered in 338 WIN MAG to sell, please reach out to me. I am looking at a few on GI and GB, but want to see what someone here may have to offer.

Thanx!

Pre64win.com is good place to buy your model 70’s. I bought my 338 from them as well as 10 or so other model 70’s for the collection and they have always been great to deal with. They have a pretty nice 338 listed currently

Yep. I have seen that one. It's on the list but want to see what people on here may have. SCMackeys is beautiful but it is a Goudy custom. I'm looking for something all original. So... still looking.

It’s @migrabill thread. He’s got dibs. I’d not crap on his search. You two work things out first.

Forgot to hit send! You should have it now.

It's so good to know people....

.338 Win Mag "Alaskan" Rifle - 1960

The history of the pre 64 Winchester model 70 .338 "Alaskan" is as unique as the chambering itself. Winchester developed the .338 WM cartridge in 1958, being tailor-made for use

Thank you for the LIKE on my old post. It brought back memories as I lost her a year and a half ago, at 18+ years.
