If it works it works. Would love to know which sitatunga subspecies he needs.I have a freind that is one more sitatunga away from his SCI African Diamond award. He has shot everything the continent offers.
He uses a custom rifle based on a model 700 action. (Push feed) a man of means and he uses one of the most economical rifle choices available. Go figure
I’m similar with a Winchester Pre64 M70 Super Grade in 375 H&H. With sales tax and everything all-in, I’m into the rifle for a little less than $1500. You couldn’t dream of touching one for that cost today, but it shoots no different than any standard grade you can find for $2k-4k.
That Pre64 will be the last gun I ever sell, and first gun I grab for almost any African Hunt and it’s the cheapest DG rifle I currently own.
