Ebola & Africa

I finally wrote the story about my Ebola experience, wanted to wait a bit until all was clear as well as rest up from my journey. It’s a short story..

Thanks for that. You brought the stress of the situation out perfectly. Like that lump that the doctors found but now you need to talk to officials in four counties to clear it and the results are in the snail mail. 21 days offf.

When driving from Kampala to Kisoro there’s a big army base that has the usual road side stalls where you can buy goat, chicken our cain rat on a stick cooked over coals. We always stopped to buy something. Was then told that was the epicentre of an Ebola outbreak that returning troops brought back from the Congo. Used to tell the passengers after they had finished eating as a bit of a joke.
Somehow it doesn’t seem so funny now.

But when your younger hey it’s all good fun.

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.

Dan who is C. W. Richter? He seems to not be a fan of myself!
