A shipping agent probably recommended by your outfitter or taxidermy will ship your trophies. For Georgia I’d use coppersmiths in Atlanta to clear your trophies.

Use the contact us form on their hunting trophy website and they’ll direct you to Atlanta or maybe recommend a different port of entry. I use Chicago.

Cargo tours in NYC, They are a usda warehouse, communication with them is great, you always know whats going on.

I just received some taxidermy back from Zimbabwe that I used Safari Specialty Importers for. I was 100% behind on handling it and they made it a breeze.

Most likely Coppersmith out of Atlanta. Where I picked mine up and I was in and out within 30 minutes of arrival.

I am using Andy, and within few months my trophies were ready to ship.
Pending now is only Cites import permit from my goverment.

I’m am very hesitant to get into too much details but I would use someone else. My crate from Namibia has been in New York since the last week of March. At least this is what I was told since I never got tracking info on it. I am actually very worried I’m not going to see it because of the issues I’ve already run into. When I asked Wyatt about it on April 28th and said they surely had to be cleared by now, I was told “My team is following up with Customs to get the Customs 3177 release form. As soon as we have that, I will be able to send tracking details for delivery.”

Now a bit for the back story. I have used Wyatt and SSI before he bought the business for like 7 or 8 crates now. Basically annually since 2017 except for Covid years. I was using him for my elephant import from Oct 2024. On April 15th I learned that my application had not even been submitted. So for the past year and a half I have been strung along thinking it was in process and just waiting on Fish and Wildlife to approve the permit. I can only believe that I was intentionally lied to over and over again. I am now 18 months post elephant hunt with nothing to show for it. I asked multiple times where we were at during this time frame and got essentially the same answer each time, that it was good to go and we were just waiting on fish and game approval. Then I get a dreaded text message from my outfitter and taxidermist and they were claiming he was asking for paperwork. So I emailed Wyatt and asked for a no bullshit answer. Got a phone call within minutes and he said he dropped the ball. Yet when I asked him the previous 3 or 4 times it was always the same answer. Everything is good and in process. This was my last email to him and his response on April 1.


He hadn’t done a thing and still answered my email with lies. When I found out all this on April 15th, I ditched him that day and moved over to Adventure Permits.

Now I’m sitting on a month and a half of waiting on my crate to be cleared from Namibia. Makes me wonder what the hell is going on. Maybe he’s waiting for a truck to be full before he ships it, maybe he’s using my money to fund other stuff and isn’t able to ship it until he has money from someone else. I have zero idea what it is but I trust him about as far as I can throw him.

Supposedly SCI kicked him out back in February time frame. I can only surmise this is due to the same bullshit that I’m dealing with and all the lies he’s done already.
