Hello AH forum friends,

I am looking for any recommendations on a mountain lion outfitter. Looking for a 2 x 1 hunt with my dad maybe in 2028. Any help is appreciated from those of you with experience on mountain lion.

I’ve taken lion, treed many cats and also took bobcat with Brady Loveless with Lonetree Outfitters in Utah. Brady is an excellent houndsman and super guide.

I’m booked for next March with 7-Anchors in Arizona for a horse/hound hunt.

I can recommend David Martinez from Espinola, NM. He and his sons run hounds and did a great job for me. Later on he hunted Namibia with me. Great guy that will get you a cat!

Its on the pricier end but check out Flying B Ranch in Idaho. That is an upscale lodge with all the trimmings. They run dogs in some steep mountain country in Jan-Mar. (read cold). I have been looking at several options and my suggestion is to consider what kind of hunt you want in the sense of accommodations, terrain to hunt in (AZ forest verse Idaho mountains is two different hunts), etc... I do know enough to say some outfitters dont offer 2X1 so I would definitely get detailed on that point. Let us know how it goes, Cheers

After reading several good hunt reports by other AH members, I booked a hunt with Logan Adams with 7 Anchor Outfitters. It's a dry ground hunt with hounds and involves a lot of horse riding. Great hunt and I might do it again. It's a different kind of hunt and I enjoyed it a lot! Send me a DM if you have any questions. I'll be happy to discuss it with you.

I recommend Bull Creek Outfitters in Nevada. Cleve Dwyer, the owner/outfitter, hunts in an area that consistently produces big Toms. Another AH member talked about Cleve and thought I would give him a try. NOT DISAPPOINTED!

I also highly recommend BullCreek in Nevada. Cleve, his wife Becky, and his brother do a fabulous job. They have great dogs. One thing special about Nevada is the dogs can hunt 24/7. There's no law on letting dogs out in the dark or taking dogs off the tree if it gets dark before you can reach it. I studied their Facebook page for years before going to see when they have the best conditions. It seems they always have great snow between Christmas and new years. Their dogs are great on dry ground to.

Van Hale at White Mountain Trophy Outfitters has some huge cats they run with hounds on the White Mountain Apache Reservation in eastern Arizona

Mike Bency is a lion killin machine, we’ve hunted 2 big toms with him, and I’ve sent a lot of folks to him.

I have not posted any items for sale on this forum and will not every put anything for sale. My account was hacked and I've worked with the admin to get things shut down.

Hello,
I might be able to help you out depending on how many you need. I could probably spare 50-75 .285g A-Frames. They are factory pulls that look like new. Let me know if you are still looking,
Thanks,
Gary
