In the case of Abu Gharib those soldiers were court marshaled, imprisoned, demoted, and then after their prison terms discharged in a manner that will follow them and hinder their ability to work in the civilian world for the rest of their lives…

In the case of the IDF, the soldiers involved are already being investigated… their punishment awaits…

In the case of Hamas murdering grandmothers in front of their grandchildren… they were treated as heros…

But… keep feeling sorry for them…

I am sure he does, assuming that he is indeed still capable of remembering it for a whole day, not so few of his speeches in his second term seems to indicate that his mental capabilities are diminished regardless how many cognitive tests he says he aced.

I hate having to copy/paste my own replies but since you seemed to ignore it the last time you made that argument.

You also have an enemy in Hamas who is more than happy to use human shields. Hamas hid rockets in hospitals and leadership in refugee camps. Families hid relatives who were Hamas fighters.

All those contribute to a tragically high number of civilian casualties in any conflict there.

Unfortunately I don’t know what else Israel could have done. Anything less than a major offensive would have been ineffective and validated Hamas’ tactics. And while support for the invasion of Gaza waned as it went on, I don’t think the Israeli public would have found anything less acceptable in the immediate aftermath of the October attacks.”

Me, I acknowledge Trump is an A-hole of the highest order. But our Trump-hole is just what this world as needed since 9/11 !

I don't much care what Trump says. That's how he operates. Then, despite his words, he does something different. That modus operandi is hard to defend against!
