Here is what is not fair. Ms James, the AG who brought the case against him, ran for the office on the pledge to take down Trump, and doing it for the people. Literally there are many vids of her bragging about how she planned to make his life a living Hell and take everything he has, that was the plan from the start. She was sitting in court at times with a grin like a Cheshire cat, trying hard to not be seen rubbing her hands together in gleeful anticipation of destroying Trump.
Now the so called conviction of the victimless crimes that were "committed" by Trump that hurt nobody, will likely get the toss later, but in the meantime he wanted to appeal his conviction.
The judge, Engomoron said he wanted the full amount of his fine put up JUST to appeal the case, it was unprecedented and many others felt so as well.
Thankfully the appeals court today, said lets take a step back on that fine, cutting it nearly two thirds to something more doable. Even for Trump, asking to put up nearly a half BILLION dollars cash just to appeal a case is ludicrous, except to the die hard lib tards in the lamestream media who all acted like someone took a big dump in their oatmeal this morning.
That was glorious!

What I do know of the case? I do not dispute that. My thing was he really should learn when to just not say anything. I don't think he's capable.

I haven't followed the bond thing enough to have an opinion about fair or not fair, and had not seen that it was reduced.

But... bragging you have $500 million in cash after saying it was impossible?

Trump's attorneys argued obtaining a bond for the full amount of $464 million was a "practical impossibility."

(Trump "Hold my beer.")

Friday: “Through hard work, talent, and luck, I currently have almost five hundred million dollars in cash,” he wrote in all caps.

He is a first ballot hall of famer with regards to not keeping his mouth shut.

Here - fixed it for him: “Through hard work, talent, luck, and people donating their actual hard earned money, I currently have almost five hundred million dollars in cash."

Think Trump said the bond was impossible to get. Supposedly 30 bonding companies turned it down as too large. Evidently the Appeals Court agreed that the District Courts decision was excessive.

Also don't think any donations to the campaign are being used toward the bond. They have been used for legal fees in the court cases.

On another note Trump's Truth Social went up 35% today. Probably on the bond news. Not sure how long Trump is locked up before he can sell stock but it looks like he will probably have around $3 billion of liquid funds within a year depending on how the stock performs.

Yeah, between Leticia James and Fat Alvin admitting to JUST going after Trump as opposed to MANY others that have done the same things but face(d) no prosecution, just shows how weaponized the New York Marxist judicial system has become. Even one of Trump's nemesis former NY Governor Cuomo has stated that Fat Alvin's case against Trump is a joke. And recently, current NY Governor Hochul told (in a news conference) concerned businessmen and investors (in response to Kevin O'Leary's statement that what Trump is accused of is how real estate business is done in New York), THEY didn't have to worry because Jame's case is just about "getting" Trump. Yes, she actually said that. My question is, where is the New York Bar Association's investigation into both James and Fat Alvin's obvious targeting of ONLY Trump for political purposes through the weaponization of their positions in Government. I'm personally not a Trumper, but what's playing out in New York could happen to anyone/business not playing by the New York Marxist Democrat's rules. Banana Republic!

The attackers in Russia were poorly trained amateurs doing it for reportedly $5K each.
Half paid before half will be paid after!
They were told that the escape plan would work and as uneducated morons they probably believed it would.
No need to give too much credit to them.
The unanswered question here is why this attack took place.
There are various scenarios but the most probable one is:
ISIS decided to hit Russia because of their involvement in Syria helping Bashar Assad.
I also agree with @Red Leg that this operation definitely carried by Sunni Muslims regardless of who's behind it.
One interesting note, the concert hall where this took place owned by a very wealthy Russian Jew and friend of Putin which brings another angle to the table.
Not exactly accurate. The owner, Agalarov, was born in Azerbaijan. Maybe a Jew, maybe a Muslim.
The family is mixed
Wife ― Irina Iosifovna Agalarova (Grill), a businesswoman, a US citizen, is registered on the voter lists as a Republican.
Son ― Emin Agalarov, first vice president of Crocus Group, singer.
Grandchildren ― Ali (born December 1, 2008), Mikail (born December 1, 2008), Amina (born April 9, 2014)[46], Athena (born December 31, 2018).
Daughter ― Sheila Agalarova, graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. A US citizen, registered on the electoral rolls as a Democrat

I don't know if he's a friend of Putin, but he's a business partner of Trump.

I think you missed the point of TT’s post. We all agree that the judgement was ridiculous and are happy it was reduced. However, why can’t DT control his mouth and not contradict his earlier statements in an apparently unquenchable desire to poke his opponents in the eye with a sharp stick?

He was obviously not adequately disciplined as a young boy. I would say he missed a few good butt-whippings between kindergarten and 3rd grade.

No, it is in the hope of placating the leftist progressives within the Democrat Party.

That might be partly true, but I can also guarantee you there is more than just leftist progressives in the government right now who are frustrated with the way this operation has been conducted.

With the Trump half a billion bond.
I think both things can be true.

The judge clearly knows how much liquid cash Trump has. They spent a year digging through everything including his sock drawer. So he set the bond for what he knew would take every penny of operating cash he had. To impact his travel, campaign and his personal life.

Trump of course did not want to be without operating cash. So sought out a bond from other sources. Leaving his cash in tact.

I don’t think the conviction will be overturned. But the fine will be changed to the lower bond amount.

The chief complaint I have is where are the “damages” going. The compromised and obviously biased prosecution and judge have said they are keeping it to prosecute more crime. :ROFLMAO:  They actually said that out loud. In NY :ROFLMAO:

The banks that this political operative was “protecting”, should raise their hand, and say they want their damages. And put it towards trumps project loans To spur more growth in their market.

That market is very slow. This hack of a prosecutor has no idea how hard she is punishing others in that already suffering Real Estate market.

Kevin O’Leary is right. nobody is investing right now in Manhattan buildings. She just drove a death spike in their local market.

the NYC comptroller is optimistic. But investors are not. This is copied from the NYC comptroller report on projected tax revenue losses from people working from home.

“So what will be needed to pick up the slack? On the demand side, this will require a combination of new startups, existing businesses expanding their footprint, and businesses from elsewhere establishing or expanding their presence in New York City.”

He is being optimistic and saying the 2-3 year tax loss will be 1.1 billion in NY city alone.

She will eventually be seen as damaging the fragile manhattan markets. If they vote her out is doubtful. Let the rotten apple fester.

Another of these clips from the front posted by a Russian soldier on their Telegram channel that boggles the mind of a Western professional soldier. In spite of the Russian Army trying to crack down on the use of cell phones, many such clips continue to be posted.

This is a Russian infantry squad walking through the remains of a Russian mechanized infantry assault. It is clear that the Ukrainians have likely withdrawn if for no other reason, these troops are not under fire. Their fellow infantrymen are lying dead everywhere, and nothing has been done to recover them. More importantly, many, perhaps most, of these casualties almost certainly didn't drop instantly killed. Thanks to body armor, there would have been any number with life threatening wounds to the abdomen, legs, and arms. It is easy to conclude nothing was done to evacuate the seriously wounded. If he couldn't walk or crawl away, he lay there and died. Some mother or wife in Russia may never know what happened to her son or husband.

In 3 years we went from the strongest relationship with one of our most valuable allies in the region to this disaster. Israel has stated they will move forward with their offensive into Rafah with, or without, US support.

The Democrat’s chickens are coming home to roost. Let a bunch of people into this country that refuse to assimilate and clutch to the politics of their former country and this is what you get. Now the Democrats feel like they have to yield to them because they can now vote.

I agree except that nobody keeps half a billion dollars in liquid funds. People with money keep it working for them, not sitting in a checkbook or even stocks. The Donald doesn’t have anything close to half a billion in liquidity. He’s a real estate guy.

Frustrated? The Palestinians voted for Hamas candidates.

We need to stop fighting wars in a way that’s been overly worried about “civilian” casualties after WWII. Remember the 8th Air Force carpet bombing Germany? People need to pay a price for supporting terrorists so maybe the next time, they don’t. Take the gloves off. Military vs military doesn’t cause the population to take much notice.

Victoria Nuland's comments a couple of months ago saying, " Moscow should expect Surprises on the battlefield", followed by her sudden and unexpected retirement certainly add to the speculation many have. Certainly a poor choice of wording and timing considering what happened.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
