Day in and day out, ballistic tips have covered a lot of bases. Then again, I do have a lot of partitions on hand.

Partitions- Almost always!
Accubond- No had to many inconsistentcies with performance on animals.
ABLR- See above
E Tip- Have not tried.
Solid- Only if required.
Ballistic Tip- Only for Varmits.
Varmageddon- See above.

Accubond for PG & cats (leopard, lion) and North American game. For the heavies, A-Frames and/or solids get the nod.
Ballistic tips for varmints and paper/steel.

What's your favorite Nosler bullet to use for hunting?
On my first trip to Zimbabwe I used Partitions, 180s in a .30-06. I didn't have any complaints except I didn't quite get the denigration that I wanted on a zebra and a kudu that I wanted and they each required a second shot. They were great on everything else. They also weren't quite as accurate as I like, but 40 years ago the were Tue only premium bullets available in loaded ammo. I started hand loading and used Ballistic Tips for deer, but found that the were too explosive with a 7RM on anything under 100 yards.
Then I decided to try other bullets and settled on AccuBonds. Blacktails and mule deer have both been take with 140 grains in 7 mm. I have been using 200 grain a cub ones in my .300 Win Mag and have taken mule deer, black bear, moose, waterbuck, nyala, bushbuck and impala with that load. They have been very accurste, complete pass through on every shot, the exit wounds show good expansion. So Accubonds are my favorite Nosler bullets.

I really wanted to take 150 grain partitions and 180 grain Accubonds to Africa. The Partitions shot high so I had only took Accubonds. At this point, and from the three deer I've shot with ABs, I'm a believer. They're accurate too, in my gun anyway.

I didnt know they made anything other than the partition?????

35cal 250gr Nosler partition from the off side front shoulder under the skin of a cow moose. Retained weight 179grs. Rifle was a 358 Norma mag.

Partition: Good results with 140gr on deer out of a .280. Disappointed with penetration of 210gr Partition on an elk out of a .338 Win mag.
Accubond: Good results on deer with 110gr (.257 Roberts), 140gr (.280), 165gr (.30/06)
Ballistic Tip: 150gr (.308 handgun) good on mule deer.

I've only killed one head of game with Nosler bullets and that is the .358 225gr PT so that's my favorite hunting bullet but I have used a ton of the .451 sports pistol bullets for compitition target shooting.

I have used the Accubonds in 35 cal 225gn at close to 2,900fps in both Namibia and Australia and found they are an excellent bullet that gives great accuracy, expansion and penetration with around 74% weight retention. They perform very similarly to the Woodleigh PPSP.
I have currently got some 115gn nosler balistic tips in 25 cal loaded that I'm looking forward to trying on game. They are supremely accurate but don't know how they will go on game yet.
In my son's 25 I am loading some 100gn balistic tips to see how they go. They were very fast in my 25 at 3,600 fps and at 100 yards 3 shots didn't even put a hole in the target. The parameter says 3,200 max velocity so who knows the may have been coming apart before they got to the target.
