Infections on the Rise, Johannesburg Mayor Dies: Virus Update

Bill Gates' father's passion was eugenics , Bill is on record saying with the right vaccine we could reduce the population . Bill's foundation is involved heavily in funding the "corona" vaccines (he has no schooling in vaccines ,as he's obviously a software guy) . They fund Moderna, which translates to modified RNA ( same as a GMO). Moderna has never provided a approved medication , ( so this is their experiment for future funding). So they need fear death and chaos for the vaccine venture to be profitable. In this case we better hope the apple has fallen far from the tree because you cant hide the links.

Per the CDC….”More than 339 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines were administered in the United States from December 14, 2020, through July 19, 2021. During this time, VAERS received 6,207 reports of death (0.0018%) among people who received a COVID-19 vaccine.” The cause of death for the six thousand people who died hasn’t been determined, but even if the vaccine was the proximate cause of death for half of these, (or 0.0009%) the vaccines are about as safe as taking aspirin. A study by Tufts-New England Medical Center found that for 50-year-old men, taking a full-sized, 325 mg aspirin every day to prevent heart disease and stroke carries a risk of 10.4 deaths per 100,000 (or 0.0001%). If Moderna, Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson were trying to thin the herd, they did a poor job.

What frustrates me is that these conspiracies don't pass the most basic common sense test, much less any statistical analysis.

And by the way, the current conspiracy preference has moved on from the vaccine actually killing people in an anti-body storm - to making them infertile - thus, depopulating the planet. It is a much more appealing theory, because it takes much longer to convince the true believers that they are bat shit crazy. :E Ok:

I have no doubt that there are lots of fuzzy headed little green utopians who would love to depopulate the planet in some form or another. However, those idiots typically can't afford an organic beer, much less amass a multi-billion dollar fortune. Even were a Bezos or Gates so inclined, those idealistic multi-million or billion dollar liberals and their ilk would quickly run up against the harsh reality that their wealth would be non-existent on a depopulated planet quickly returning to the stone age. Musk's auto investment looks rather ridiculous if no one is left to make or buy them. Bezos's empire crumbles just a bit without customers living in a web-connected world. Gates would look rather foolish living out his days without knowing from whence comes his next meal much less his next bimbo.

The real curious thing about this craziness is that otherwise intelligent people readily embrace such nonsense rather than just employing a little critical thought.

None of this should imply that I remotely agree with how the CDC, NIH, or most of the nation's leadership has handled this to date. I personally think Sweden (internationally) and Florida (domestically) will be viewed as the most appropriate responses once the political baggage dissipates.

And hopefully, South Africa has actually crested this latest wave.

I sure hope SA…..and we in the US….have seen the worst of it. I strongly believe that more people getting vaccinated is the path to normality.

I met a huckster a few weeks ago at a gun show. He’s running for Congress (but I repeat myself.) He had fancy, full-color brochures claiming that COVID is a hoax and the vaccination push is a government conspiracy. I asked him “to what end?” The word salad that followed pushed me on my way to the door.

Time will tell boys.

CDC Quietly Revokes RT-PCR Emergency Use Authorization Because They Counted Covid-19 and Influenza Together

Here’s a punch in the gut for a nation that’s already hurting. As it turns out, the so-called “gold standard” testing referenced by so many “doctors” like Anthony Fauci, as well as government officials across the board, has had its Emergency Use Authorization revoked.

The CDC announced, albeit quietly, on Wednesday that the RT-PCR tests used to tell millions of Americans they’re infected with Covid-19 has been unable to accurately differentiate between the various coronaviruses. Of particular note is the inability of these tests to know whether someone is infected with Covid-19 or influenza.

To be clear, this is not a new development. These assays have been known for years to be unable to distinguish between the different types of coronaviruses, but they ran with it anyway.

Yip … Reuters posted the RSA Presidents latest comments late on the 25th. Statistics outline a 50% or greater reduction in harder hit Gauteng Province particularly Joburg … adjusted Level 3 resumes all Leisure Travel for this region so an uplift for tourism, curfew 2200 - 0400 & most hunters & guests are by the fire or in their Chalet dreaming of the next Big Trophy!

Gov intends to maintain tight restrictions on in/outdoor gathering #’s …

For those interested in the vaccine front - RSA has procured an additional 31M does over next 3-months … article stated, “ensure the Country has sufficient quantities for remainder of the year.”

I suspect that some of these weird conspiracies are planted by external Governments seeking to weaponise miss-information around the covid crisis.

Russia has a long history of this type of action, and China is desperately trying to cloud the issue to deflect responsibility for starting the outbreak and miss-managing its control in early days

Open societies like ours are of course highly vulnerable to such programs.

The situation is not helped by the understandable desire for simplistic answers and a measure of certainty.

Science is unable to offer either as the situation is for ever changing and its impact on society is both nuanced and multi faceted

This leaves open ground for the false prophets

What really ticks a lot of nurses (and others)off is that they keep calling the COVID shot a "vaccine". It is a vaccine for covid like the flu shot is a vaccine for the flu. ‍

On another positive note, we are down to level 3 lockdown. Booze sales are allowed Mondays to Thursdays.

. We stopped at two liquer stores on the way back from this mornings hunt.
Supplies were getting really low...

Life is good.

I suppose this depends on what you consider to be a "conspiracy theory". Is it a conspiracy to believe that we have been lied to by the so-called "experts" on just about every level in regard to the original purpose of the lockdowns, the effectiveness (or should I say ineffectiveness) of mask wearing, social distancing, and every other form of nonsense we have been fed? Given the massive amount of ever-changing misinformation as well as outright political propaganda on all fronts, I don't necessarily think it's unreasonable for relatively intelligent people to have some doubts as to what we are being told in regard to vaccines or any of the preventative measures being taken for the "greater good" which are still being perpetuated upon us with no scientific basis whatsoever. If asking questions is considered buying into conspiracies, I am guilty as charged.

I strongly believe that more people getting vaccinated is the path to normality.

What is your definition "normality"? Most of the dem controlled states are already reverting back to mask mandates and lockdowns that have since been proven to be nothing more than theatrical demonstrations of useless virtue signaling to achieve compliance of the masses. As Red Leg pointed out, states like Florida have shown these ridiculous measures to be nothing more than an exercise of political platitudes, yet the sheep put their masks back on and do what they are told... They close bars and ban indoor dining, but the big box retailers hum along. They make you stand 6 feet apart in the TSA lines only to pack the airplanes to capacity...LMFAO! If going backwards and repeating the nonsense indefinitely is normality, I don't want any...

Of particular note is the inability of these tests to know whether someone is infected with Covid-19 or influenza.

At the risk of being a conspiracy theorist, maybe this is why the flu has mysteriously disappeared for the last year and a half? We went from an estimated high of 60,000 deaths from the flu in 2019 to 646 in 2020? What are the odds of that? It's truly a medical miracle.. LOL..

On a related note, since the flu has traditionally taken tens of thousands of lives a year on average in the US with flu vaccines available since 1945, why hasn't the government or the MSM accused the 55% of Americans annually who have chosen not to get a flu shot as being complicit in murder until now?

It's sad that ANYBODY would believe ANYTHING coming from the Federal Government, including the CDC, DNC, CCP, etc. The CDC gets $4.5B annually from big pharma.

I essentially have no argument with anything that you have said.

The response to the pandemic has become so politicized, and the Democrat leadership - along with Canada and much of the EU (not to mention the insanity going on down under) are so committed to a certain set of response measures, that they are incapable of reevaluating data and moving to alternative strategies. LA reverting back to closures to deal with Delta is the perfect example. (I should note, such closures have been "proven" to you "to be nothing more than theatrical demonstrations," but other informed people would disagree). And in fairness, Fla and Texas (less Austin - bless their little blue hearts) essentially ignoring the uptick in cases follows their political calculations as well. I think Fla and TX are correct, but they are no more capable politically of taking an alternative approach than the Dems in California.

I have no doubt that flu hospitalizations and deaths are indeed buried in the Covid statistics. But that doesn't change the fact that over half a million people were killed by this disease in this country and a lot of others (several on this site) came close to joining them.

The rapid development of a vaccine to address this virus is one of the great medical achievements of of the last several decades (with a lot of second and third order benefits for the treatment of a number of other diseases). Even if you believe that Covid is just a common cold, the research and development mechanisms put in place will serve us very well the next time something more deadly shows up. And don't forget, we have Trump and "Warp Speed" to thank for the vaccine, not the democrats.

My only point is that all of those observations are quite different than believing that the vaccine contains a tracking agent, or it will destroy one's immune system, or it will make most of the world infertile, etc. etc. etc.:rolleyes:

Western concern with human security is admirable but not if is at the expense of national security

You need to worry about disease on your ship only for so long as the vessel actually stays afloat

It is that problem that totalitarian powers are trying to exploit

Problem is how do you protect against totalitarianism without losing that which you strive to protect

A western conundrum ??

I’m no fan of how COVID was managed. From the start, I said to do what the SD Governor did -protect the elderly and people with conditions but let the rest of us work. However, saying that what the government people told us in the beginning and the difference in what they say now makes everything they said earlier to be all “lies” doesn’t take into account the learning curve we have all gone through with COVID. Many, but not all, of the people advising us on COVID have changed their advice based on recent studies. That doesn’t make them all liars.

But that doesn't change the fact that over half a million people were killed by this disease in this country and a lot of others (several on this site) came close to joining them.
This is very much the blatant reality of this virus in which most people want to ignore. Is this the mega death machine which the media hyped past the point of no return? Most likely no. Is this a very real sickness that can kill anyone regardless of health condition? Yes is its, although the over all odds say that is very low.

My wife and both of her sisters are nurses, with one working in a very large hospital. Once she saw rows of all walks of human life on ventilators, and dying, it changed our family's tune quickly. We were all on the "this is a survivable flu" pitch until perfectly healthy people were dropping.

The other part of this puzzle which most don't want to think about are what are the long term health effects of covid? Once you have significant damage your lungs, how will that affect you throughout your life? I have an acquaintance who has been oxygen for over 3 months. They have been over the major symptoms for quite some time now, but still needs oxygen to assist in every day life. How is that going to play into the rest of that persons life?

I truly don't care about the 99.9999999 whatever percent survival rate is, if I can catch this, survive but shorten my health quality by any means, I don't want it.
