Huntress posing with bloody HEART

Flame on, dang. One would think about the only way to manage herds of those animals is to cull them out, agree the optics are not the best and would hope people have learned from the past about posting on book of faces. Maybe she likes the heat, but if a legal hunt she is good to go.

This is not hunting and any SOB who claims otherwise is a coward and PM me for my address so we can discuss this in person!
Gee whiz.......

I've seen a thousand pictures of hearts from all different animals, usually with a sweet looking bullet hole through it. No different than a steak on the grill to me.
But I gotta admit that woman wants attention .
I’d add that one should choose there audience, for instance a picture of a heart with a bullet whole would likely not draw undesirable attention here where as an open social media platform would cause an outcry.

i don’t personally care that she posted the picture it doesn’t bother me any. Likewise if she was not smart enough to choose her audience I have no sympathy for the backlash she’s experiencing.

fundamentally and ideally I agree with the posts above where it’s not hurting the antis so they shouldn’t complain. However I also respect there right to an opinion and don’t feel the need to antagonize them by posting such images on a social platform and rubbing there face in it.

I challenge that a graphic picture of two homosexuals engaging in a graphic sexual act or a live stream of an abortion would garner negative feedback if forced on an unappreciative audience regardless of the legality of the actions.

My point exactly. A truly dumb shit photo to be posted on this site. Jerome..delete it. How assinine can we get with these type of photos.
Hardly seems like your place to be telling the Founder of the forum or anyone else for that matter to delete a picture you find offensive.
C'mon man!

Hey, this was a lot of fun! A little slow off the line, but right spirited before the end!
Sort of like the mid 50s Jaguars, a big v8 jumps ahead but above 100 mph the Jag comes on and pulls away. :)

Fred Gunner,
I see you have hunted Africa twice. Were they high fence allotment, low fence, game farm, private property? If the answer to any of the above is yes is that not technically pen killing? If there was a fence around any of the areas you hunted, regardless of size they could be considered pens. May I suggest that you be sure the brain is running before activating the mouth.
To be sure, posting the heart picture on FB was not the smartest move on the young lady's part, but that is her business and not ours. I think the less said about it, the better. No need to draw unnecessary attention to it.

I don’t really see how any opinions can be drawn one way or the other about the size of the enclosure from the information presented. The only observation I’m able to make is the lady hunter doesn’t appear dressed for a hard day in the bush.

Or that moments hesitation between the flint hitting the frizon and the pan sparking off.

We do seem to get ourselves in a lather about legal things, don't we?

If asked (and I admit no one has), I'd say I don't know enough about the circumstances to decide if I should call this shooting or hunting. But either way, I know enough to call it legal.

I also know enough not to compare the legal death of an animal with the death of a human being at the hands of terrorists. If anything is offensive in this thread, it's that.

As for the picture, we have hashed and rehashed this over and over in various threads. The reality is that to many, especially non-hunters, the picture of a giraffe heart would be interesting and to others, off-putting. But no one is forced to look at it (at least not for long).

I recall when a Danish zoo had a genetically surplus giraffe and it had to be taken out of the gene pool. The giraffe was killed and then a necropsy was conducted on the giraffe in the presence of interested members of the public and a group of school kids. Predictably, this sparked outrage among those who weren't there and think that animals are "the same" as humans and should never be killed or eaten (see, for example, https://www.cnn.com/2014/02/09/world/europe/denmark-zoo-giraffe). But what's the difference between a picture of a giraffe heart and a nice Kobe beef steak? None in my view, and we need to keep fighting those who would make distinctions where none exist, legally or (in my humble opinion) morally.

If we want to be outraged, I suggest we start with those who attacked this woman.

I get the feeling her feet are gonna be unhappy in the morning. Reminds me of all the tourists I'd see here walking on cobbles and sidewalks in cheap plastic flip-flops all day (and then complaining they have blisters and cut-up feet).

Yeah, those might be Courtneys’, but too low cut for me hunting all day!

I agree about her hunting attire. Can you imagine the bolt of her rifle upon a reload, getting tangled up in her tank top shoulder strap? That could open up a whole other can of worms and lead to more exciting threads on proper hunting attire in relation to firearms safety in the field and protection from the elements while hunting.

I see several excellent meals coming out of a heart that size! Second only to the filet!

We probably have more blood and guts pics than most, as my GF seems to have a fixation on them. I don't think any of them have been posted anywhere, but can't swear to that.

From the brief, detail lacking account, the only impression I have is that the lady doesn't mind pissing off an anti or two. Her pics, her choice. I wouldn't have posted them, simply because I understand the antis like to play on the emotions of the uninformed masses who think meat is grown in Safeway and has cellophane skin. But that would be my choice, not hers.

Without more info than what was given, the rant that started this thread seems a little over the top.

This is totally taken out of context she knew she was going to get reaction from the greenies and she was ready for it. But now hunters are taking this overboard did you guys see what a neat throphy black bull giraffe it is? Have a look at the link posted I would love to hunt a stink bull like this one day.

So what if she shot it from a vehicle looking at how she is dressed you are telling me that all hunters on this forums as taken all their game from foot? Or never stopped and climbed off to take a quick 2 minute stalk to shoot an animal I call that BullSh#t.

Fred let us Africans take care of our own game as we have done so and very succesfully for quite sometime. One less trophy hunter who slanders other hunters can stay home and away from Africa.

So, you figure she has a rather confrontational attitude? From her FB page.
