They gotta be able to build the tools used to build the plane. Maybe they'll be able to in the future, but as of RN, they can't. The plans may reveal weaknesses in the plane's design and performance, but they won't be able to make a copy of it.

@IdaRam - as one example. the chicoms have had stealth plans (that they stole from us and the russians) for years. a key component of those plans is a round-ish nose cone. the nose cones the chicoms are putting on their planes are pentagonal because they can't figure out how to tool for round.

a series of 72º angles in a nose cone may not sound like a big deal, but it is in no way, shape, or form "stealthy."

if china eventually becomes the world's hegemonic power, at least economically, we are all in trouble. Innovation is sort of a thing in traditional chinese culture, but it is definitely not a thing in communist culture.

Well, at least you got some funds for ammo. I sometimes watch American (fake) news and they always seem to mention that Scandinavian citizens get 80% of their salary from the government when losing their job. The truth is that Swedish citizens have received nothing. The 80% that they are referring to is payments from private unemployment funds that you can join and just like any other private insurance you pay a monthly fee. Normally you need to have to been a member for at least a year before qualifying for any payments. What they did was that they shortened that time and many more got qualified. As a result the premiums went up with 30%, and at the end you ended up paying instead of receiving.

The USA has labelled both Canada and the EU as threats to their "National Security" in order to justify new duties declared by their military Commander-in-Chief on the international trade of steel and aluminum. So I suggest that USA made products such as firearms and ammunition should be sold exclusively within the USA so Canada and Europe can help our esteemed neighbour defend themselves and improve their national security. Sadly, I have come to the conclusion that Canadians and Europeans should make do with their own products exclusively. For all our AfricaHunting friends in Canada, Europe, Africa and elsewhere, please don't buy any American made products. Lets's support the USA in their concern. They possibly will get several - but it won’t matter. They will have a few hours of debate and the vote won’t be that close. McConnell will tolerate a few voting to not affirm - particularly those most at risk in two years - but then Biden will officially be President.

The only thing I am watching seriously is Georgia where we are on the cusp of losing two senate seats and the senate majority. That is something about which we ought to be absolutely obsessing over as conservatives and as republicans.

Taken together with earlier comments he made about a discussion with Obama and how he (Biden) intended to fake an illness and resign if he had a major disagreement with Harris.
