Hog Hunting Outfitter Recommendations - Florida

Hi all,

I’ll be visiting friends near Flagler Beach, Florida in February, and I’d like to do a day (or night) of hog hunting while I’m there. Does anyone have suggestions or recommendations for outfitters to go with? This will be both my first time in Florida as well as my first time hunting hogs.

I went with Out West Farms outside of Okeechobee. They take you out in big custom built buggies. It wasn't too expensive. 250.00 a hog if I remember correctly. Included the guide, dogs, and butchering. I had a good time.

Okeechobee would be about 3 hours from Flagler Beach. The hog hunting I've done is down that way too. I don't know any of the outfitters near Flagler Beach, but there are quite a few that advertise what you are looking for in north Florida - search around the Jacksonville area. Southern Georgia would be closer to.

When you talk to them ask them about feeders and when they shut them down prior to spring Turkey season. Looks like north Florida spring turkey starts March 21st. I believe they have to stop feeders thirty days before the start of the season.
