Just received mine. Damascus blades are excellent.

The wooden handles are very, very good.

WHat more could I ask for? Answer! More of them (of course(!!

Oh am I jealous! What handsome looking knives! I could never use those beauties in the field!

I won’t be using either - too good and they’ll be show ponies![emoji4]

Oh Wow! Those are absolutely beautiful.

wow..........sure like the looks of that drop-point............................VG knows his stuff.............If I ever successfully draw a big game tag in the Western USA again, I must buy a new knife........FWB

Stunning!!

You are an artist, sir!

Those are stunning. I think that should be an option on the next AH group buy....

That skinner on the left is a work of art.. absolutely beautiful

Von Gruff indicated that he was willing to make more Damascus blade knives. To my knowledge AZDave and I were the only ones that spoke up and said we want one.

WOW!!! What incredible work. I love the look of a Damascus blade. Every time Von Gruff posts pics of blades they look fantastic, but these are his best yet.
Dr. Ray, you’re a lucky man.

I will make one of these for this years giveaway Yancey or at least something in a damascus blade with nice wood. There is still time to get on board with an order as I have to wait on more of the damascus becoming available so an email (vongruff@gmail.com) will get you into the next lot I do. I have a new and different project in the planning stages that I will post on my main thread when I get a few more details sorted.

If I use the knives will they be stained with blood or whatever?
I just don’t want any blemishes in them.
Maybe I should put them under my pillow when I sleep![emoji4]

They are stainless Ray and can be used without fear of staining just like any other stainless knife with the same proviso's of cleaning after use as you would for any stainless equipment be it knife or gun.

Thanks for that. It’s 4 in the morning and I’m reading this. Must be crazy.[emoji4]

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
