Not in hand yet, but on its way from Accurate Innovations. Wes sent me some pictures yesterday. I picked up this SC production 375 H&H Safari Express a few years ago and hadn't done much with it. Decided to spruce it up with a nice stick of English. Found something on the AI web site that tickled my fancy and gave Wes a call. Checkering pattern is a custom one to match my 404J and the cross bolts are, of course, faux, but I think it completes the look.

:Facepalm:Well, I posted this in the wrong forum and can't see that I can move it. Could one of the moderators move it to the 375 and up forum please?

Looks great, AI does a great job from what I've been hearing.

Beauty! No one easier to work with than Wes.

That sir is a nice looking rifle. Out of curiosity, why "faux" cross bolts?

why "faux" cross bolts?
The AI stocks use an aluminum bedding block so there is no need for actual cross bolts. I suppose you could put them in, but it would be two belts and three pair of suspenders.

Thanks, agreed. You can't tell a book by its' cover.

Is this wood you supplied or some they sold you!

Congrats on your "new" rifle, looks outstanding.

Accurate Innovations does some incredible work.
I have three rifles currently that have A.I stocks on them and I love them.

Lots of people look at me sideways when I tell them my .500 MDM weighs only 8.5lbs, as does my .458 Lott, but as they are both stocked in A.I stocks that fit me to a tee both rifles are pleasantly manageable to shoot AND carry.

Lovely stick of wood that has made into a beautiful rifle.

IF YOU DON'T COME UP WITH ANY .458, I WILL TRY AND GET MY KID TO PACK SOME UP FOR YOU BUT PROBABLY WOUDN'T BE TILL THIS WEEKEND AND GO OUT NEXT WEEK.

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
