Thanks for the kind words. Had a great time here, passed on another one the first hour of my hunt and looked hard for this one. As you can see from the video, I am not accustomed to filming, but it was a fun hunt at a great ranch. He was dead with the first shot, but really dead with the second.

I guess it depends upon how far you can accurately and comfortably shoot with a handgun. There will be walking and climbing involved but we can still hunt and use the hunting vehicles to cut down on that a little. Aoudad isn't an easy hunt but I would say that it is definitely doable for anyone in reasonable shape. We can also try baiting them in areas they like to hang out. The biggest thing is be open and let us know what your capabilities are. Where there is a will there is a way. On a typical Aoudad hunt it is a lot of climbing and hiking. It's not unheard of to put 10 miles a day in but.... if one cannot do that then we will make a plan and figure out a way. Aoudad are absolutely earned.

He definitely has a "horse face". I hadn't seen a lot of them before this hunt. After walking around at DSC I am definitely happier with my trophy, if that is possible.

I would have to agree with Gizmo about it is doable at any age or ability, just have to be realistic about your pace and ability. might want to allow a few extra days. It is fun country

I think that’s a realistic goal. I’ve had several folks in their 70’s hunt with us. The key is just communicating with us and letting us know what you can and can’t do and if you need a break then we’ll take a break. We aren’t going to push you beyond your physical limitations.

Edward.............arrange for an extra day or two if needed. Time to be a little more patient and you will get it done with the hand cannon............that would be a hunt I'd like to see.....aoudad with a handgun, or a traditional muzzleloader.......................FWB
