New guy who just likes to hunt. I've been to Africa once in 2016 (RSA) for a plains game hunt. I'm getting ready to retire and hope to go on a couple of more African hunts in the summer when I'm not chasing elk, mule deer and quail with my GSP! Thanks.

Welcome. I’m from jersey as well. Reading your name I didn’t think of German shorthaired pointer I thought of garden state parkway. Congrats on retirement.
Thanks again guys, appreciate the warm welcome. GSP is indeed German Short-hair Pointer. Long time lurker, I really enjoy this site. NJ to Alaska is some journey! I grew up not too far from Giants Stadium in the Meadowlands and did a lot of duck, pheasant and rabbit hunting in that swamp!
