Well I just had two monster Aoudad delivered. They will do very well to add to my herd. The first is right at 30". The second is pushing 33". Two absolute stud rams.

It was funny, the delivery man was an hour and a half late. As it turns out this was why. It is also why one doesn't want to mess with a cranky gemsbok

I spent all day Saturday and all day today trying to get more pics of them. They absolutely evaporated. If you want an aoudad hunt at the Rockin G better bring your hiking boots and be ready to cover some miles.

Here are the best pics I could get of them.

Good looking rams!

Very cool! Yeah those are nice ones!

Hope they start breeding your females when the time is right so you get some fine little ones next year!

That Oryx poking a hole in the tire is priceless Gizmo!

Nice rams Gizmo. I'm pretty shocked no one has made any comments about you bringing in sheep for your personal pleasure yet....:giggle:

Oryx makes you feel like you are back in South Africa. :ROFLMAO:

Very nice Gizmo. That Oryx looks like he has some attitude. Obviously knows what to do with those horns on his head. Bruce

Its kinda like telling someone the sun came up in the east today. Some things are just understood by all.

Great breeder rams ! How many Aoudad do you have on the Rockin G ?

By the end of next month there will be around a dozen but 7 are ewes which are all pregnant or just had babies last month so within the next few months the herd will almost double in size.

This is a few of the parts of the ranch the Aoudad live. Pretty rough stuff and they can completely evaporate in it.

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
