Great thanks for all your kind help all set with Jimba and taxidermist fro our ele and leopard, communications established DONE !!!
Good Luck getting a reply from Wayne D. (Jimba Safaris) we hunted with him in Sept. of 2012 & we just got back our capes at the end of 2014 & some of them the hair had slipped because they were not taken care of. Together with Robby Winstead we shot over 20 trophies.

Hi there can you kindly follow up with Wayne the ele we shot in ZIM with him of Jess, up to now no communication form him or taxidermist and its been 1 year 6 months !!! thnx if you can email me directly at namssa01@hotmail.com please....
Mack not to be bearer of bad news but you won't be able to get in touch with Wayne D. for several months now that he has started his Safaries. We had the same problem. Our trophies were left at the Sijiria camp at Lake Kariba for over 7 months. They were not properly salted & cared for causing the hair to slip & ruining several of the Hides. We did not find out they were ruined until they were sent to the tannery here in the U.S. costing us more money in packing, Dipping, & shipping. 2 of the animals were Giraffes & one was an Eland.
There was a lot of money wasted shipping the worthless hides to the U.S. We have tried for months to get in touch with Wayne D. with no reply. Once he has your money you are forgotten & he goes on to the next hunt. We have reported him to PHASA at the SCI in Reno & they are to meet with him in March of 2015.
I had also talked to his booking agent Scott here in the U.S. before we did the hunt & he said he booked for him. I have done hunts in Africa every year from 2000-2007 & then booked the hunt for a friend of mine (Robby Winstead) because our PH Wayne Clark who we had hunted with & shot Lion, a couple of Leopards was killed by a wounded Buffalo in July of 2012 & our hunt was in Sept. of 2012.

Jeff, Your first post is a doozy.

Do you have a hunt report you can post for us?
Pictures of the product you received?

Yes, very nice place, awesome trophies, great staff, great hunting, but crappy ending. Hopefully he will make it right. I emailed his agent as well and still no repl
Jess 's ele is done and ready to ship from Matt Taxi Matebeland Taxidermy now, sorry for the delay but it is fairly common under the old hand written permit system. Every PH in Zim is hopeful the new online permit system will speed up this process or at least make it predictable. AS always don't hesitate to contact me with any questions concerning Jimba or Namib Sun even going back beyond my joining them. One thing of NOTE to all readers of this thread-- The hunter that took the bull was from the Philippines and export there is a little more complex as they have a huge black market for some animal products..
Please contact me. Giving the excuse of it being in the Philippines might be somewhat true, but not in the USA!! By the time Jeff Curtiss and myself finally received our trophies ( DAMAGED) from Jimba Safaris ( Wayne D.) I already went on another safari in June 2013 and relieved 21 trophies I shot there and over half of them were mounted by my taxidermist. I have already been on another safari in July 2014 and shot 22 animals this time and those mounts are already at the tannery in the US. I'm fixing to go on another safari in April of this year. All my trophies were in the US no longer than 4 to 5 months are where all done professionally!! Anyhow, you using the excuses to other hunters that spend lots of money, along with life time memories need to be answered to when trying to get ahold of someone about their trophies, not given the run around. Jeff and myself were given all kind of excuses waiting on our trophies. Another thing I would like to add: it's sure is funny Wayne D can answer my emails about booking another safari, but want reply about my trophies. That is why I backed out of my next safari with him. Please call me at 361.701.5921 or email: robbyw@topnotchcc.com. I would definitely like to visit with you and hopefully resolve our problems.
Thanks

"Drag and drop" from the desk top right into the post. As long as they are jpegs you'll be fine.

id love to see your photos.
and pictures of jimba safaris areas.
sounds like heaven on earth , shame the company doesn't have the post hunt pride and interity that overseas hunters need to preserve the wonderful time they spend in jimbas camps.
such an awful shame .
I hope they can get their act together
cant SCI help in anyway ........

Yes, Robby & I have pictures of us in Zimbabwe with Wayne D. When we harvested them. As soon as we figure out how to post them we will.

Mack, it seems you are having a Horrid time getting Gov's trophy's, I am sorry to hear that, Gov deserves better than that, especially that 80 pound Elephant.

Please confirm that all his animals hunted with me the same year is back and mounted already?About 21 Trophy's if I remember correctly. ???

that would be awesome , mate
my email is ladymiriam19@hotmail.com its my work . and we are right now its a tad rough and the service is in and out , by tonight when we are on way the back to port , it will be at full service .

Mack I am Jimbas agent/patner please send any email to ScottOutdoors@hotmail.com and I will 100% make certain our taxidermist responds. Zimbabwe is in the process of making all export permits viewable online which we hope speeds up the export time, that being said a year to 16 months is about the norm currently. I would also like to mention that Stan Christiansen has just taken the new archery world record leopard with us scoring 17 inches and a live weight of 192 pounds!
Email re sent
