Mack I am Jimbas agent/patner please send any email to ScottOutdoors@hotmail.com and I will 100% make certain our taxidermist responds. Zimbabwe is in the process of making all export permits viewable online which we hope speeds up the export time, that being said a year to 16 months is about the norm currently. I would also like to mention that Stan Christiansen has just taken the new archery world record leopard with us scoring 17 inches and a live weight of 192 pounds!

Hi there can you kindly follow up with Wayne the ele we shot in ZIM with him of Jess, up to now no communication form him or taxidermist and its been 1 year 6 months !!! thnx if you can email me directly at namssa01@hotmail.com please....

We hunted September 2013 and now its January 7th 2015 its like over a year in 6 months speaking of after client service huh

Hi Wayne of Jimba in Zim , hope all is well, ? As you have mentioned were still awaiting our Ele export permit, take note the animal was shot Sept 2013 its like , almost a year and a half, thnx await more news if any

I sent a PM to safarisean.

What replies did you get earlier on the other trophies?

Apparently the same answer in the past just eb a little patience with a little more time.... my friend say its an old story but I dont know the truth...his in usa now i think his wife says, and my fiend is begging client for some info on the matteer invested like usd 50k on the ele with blackstone as broker agent, whom were awaiting also, the nature conservation leopard docs, holding up our shipments with zingala of joburg, so we decided to leave em trophies and go ahead with initial trophies fr ready shipment...from joburg zingala miss elna of zing great help

Jess 's ele is done and ready to ship from Matt Taxi Matebeland Taxidermy now, sorry for the delay but it is fairly common under the old hand written permit system. Every PH in Zim is hopeful the new online permit system will speed up this process or at least make it predictable. AS always don't hesitate to contact me with any questions concerning Jimba or Namib Sun even going back beyond my joining them. One thing of NOTE to all readers of this thread-- The hunter that took the bull was from the Philippines and export there is a little more complex as they have a huge black market for some animal products..

The smile says it all . what an AWESOME LION . Forrest

Thanks for your kind efforts and our peace of mind! Yes Ele is ready but says outfitter needs more permits, cities or export docs maybe ? Never the less were still waiting, take note were only a small intl hunt group here and there's no black market of goods as you mentioned in the Philippines as others, will still be standing by fingers crossed !

Sorry you are going through the same thing my friend and I went through in September 2012 safari with Wayne. It took us over a year and a half to get our stuff back from him. ( they gave us the same sad story of he's out in the bush still hunting, but he didn't have a problem taking my money for the safari) I shoot 15 + animals with Wayne and had a great time with him, but the problem with him is after the safari you are forgotten about and he's making a dollar off the next client. After waiting for over a year and half for our trophies they finally made it back home. Several off our trophies were damage from hair slippage due to him not salting them right and not getting them to a taxidermist to do the dipping and packing. Hopefully it will work out better for you than it did for us

I'm glad I joined AH. I would like for you to contact me, if you are Wayne's agent. Wayne D dropped the ball on us in 2012 and a lot of our capes were damaged from him not taking care of our trophies. The taxidermist didn't receive our trophies for almost a year, because Wayne left everything in The camps we hunted in and was to busy still hunting and not taking care of our trophies. Please contact me at robbyw@topnotchcc.com. I think the least he could do is replace all our capes that were bad. I was at the SCI show in Vegas and went to the Zimbabwe booth and Jimba Safaris ( Wayne D) had numerous complaints written up on him for the same thing I went through

I went through this with my leopard and had to reapply for a permit because he didn't take care of the paperwork. Hopefully all your trophies come back in good shape several of ours were damaged.

Hmmm thnx fr peace of mind and your story I appreciate at least thy will give ! Hope the ele hair don't slip ! Co their so few
