No the head of the FCC issued threats to pull licenses.

And then went on CNN and threatened to go after "The View" next, while the President was threatening to go after an ABC reporter.

Pleased to see they were not successful.

Mafia is the right term though, well used by a certain well know Republican.
Not a very effective one. The crybully is already back and didn’t even have to get his legs broken.

I wonder if he rolled over and we’ll hear a half-hearted apology.

I bet few of the H1B visa holders will pay the 100 grand themselves. The employer will have to pick up the tab. So, these cheaper foreign workers won’t be as cheap once this goes into effect.

Not all of them are cheap. Quite a few are actually doing jobs Americans are not qualified to do especially in tech. Already, one company in SF area is advertising that they will pick up the $100K for the best of the best. Just look at the percentage of PhDs that are foreign born.

With our public high schools graduating students that are barely literate we have to reach to other countries for qualified people as we do not have enough people in the pipeline.

I think this was the point of making it 100k. If you are good enough and there is demand, then companies will pay. But it cancels any savings on low end tech workers.

One thing I am curious about is if Trump will try to add extra fees for H-2A visa. That is absolutely needed, and we actually need more than what is available.

The moment was there, but for a number of reasons it was squandered. All that goodwill is gone.

I remember the day after 9/11 the headline of Le Monde, a leading French paper, was "We are all Americans". Amazing moment.

How we got from that to "Freedom Fries" is beyond me.

Great opportunities wasted. Simply wasted.
Now, 24 years later, New York is set to elect a Muslim Communist as Mayor. No wonder most of the country thinks New Yorkers are nuts.

It's a start

Kimmel is making a huge tactical or strategic mistake. He is the current left media martyr/darling.

He could have parlayed that into a more profitable platform. Now when the show does get canceled because the late night genre is shrinking he will have lost his martyrdom.

The smart play would be go back to the show as he’s working towards a better platform.

I've heard that his contract is up in January. I'm sure he'll get canned then and no one can b*tch about it due to a business decision to not renew his contract. But, we know what the left is capable of. Soooo!

Well......look at it this way. What if a bunch of foreigners started showing up in Africa and started taking away all the PH jobs currently held by African residents, and worked cheaper.
What would you do to fix that problem?

Shit don't give the Chinese any more ideas.......

And personally I have no objection to people of colour or women acting as police.

Unless they are dipshit muppets.....and here you are black...white ..coloured....etc...not of colour or any of the other bullshit terminologies ....and as it's factually correct...guess what...nobody blinks an eyelid.....

Another one of these short clips, no doubt posted by a proud commanding officer (remember the Russian Army does not have a strong professional NCO Corps like most Western Armies), offering a glimpse into Russian military culture. You can find many such on line.

I will admit to being a little bit in awe of the fatalistic resignation of the Russian soldier and to a larger extent, the Russian people. I hasten to add that this is not a praiseworthy observation. Rather it is a reflection of deep-rooted factors like a collective identity shaped by trauma (e.g., post-Soviet hardships), defensive nationalism glorifying sacrifice, Orthodox-influenced subjugation of individual will, and systemic repression that fosters apathy and nihilism among soldiers and the broader population.

No Western society would tolerate this. and yet every day another thousand Russians are wounded and killed in mindless unsupported infantry assaults that over three years of war can't even conquer the Donbas region of Ukraine much less reach the original objectives of the Special Military Operation.

I was a cop in a particularly nasty major metro area years ago… I worked with many women and people of color that were exceptional police officers… in fact, there are particular roles and responsibilities women and people of color can be assigned that a 6’ white male in his late 20’s wouldnt be effective in at all…

As an example, a lady I worked with made an outstanding truck stop hooker whenever we needed to run prostitution stings… I would have been pretty suspicious looking if they had dressed me up in fishnets and a leather mini skirt lol… and she was as tough as they came when it was time to get physical during an arrest… I had a lot of respect for her.. reasonably smart, hard working, and fearless… and we were able to deploy her in a way that I could never have worked (by the same token, I made a much more believable biker, redneck dope dealer, general ruffian than she ever could)…,

I had another partner when I worked on a felony fugitive apprehension squad that was born and raised in the projects… he could walk right into the ghetto and look and act in a way that everyone believed he belonged there… my big, pasty white, frame stood out like a turd in a punch bowl… he was also a lot of fun to be around, was lightning fast, which complimented my Sasquatch size and strength when we were out on foot having to run people down, etc… bar none he was my favorite partner during my law enforcement career… and blacker in color (and in behavior) than probably 99% of the people I’ve ever worked with…he was a seriously good cop and a genuinely good dude…I had zero reservations trusting my life with him…

It’s a good thing to have a diverse group of people in law enforcement… you can accomplish a lot more with a variety of cops on the street rather than having everyone look and act the same way..

That said, law enforcement, much like government and many companies have taken things too far over the last couple of decades, and have made hiring decisions based on genitals, race, religion, sexual orientation, etc as a priority rather than looking at those sort of things and an ancillary capability (if used the right way)… priority in hiring should be whether or not the candidate can physically do the job, has the mental acuity to do the job, the emotional and mental stability to do the job, etc…

Unfortunately many agencies in the US and Europe have their priorities reversed… it’s far more important that we hire more people with tits, or that are gay, or that are Muslim, etc, and hope they are smart enough and physical enough to do the job.. than it is to hire people that we know can do the job, that may happen to have tits, or are gay, or are Muslim, etc..

I hope European leaders listen to Trumps U.N speech where he highlights unvetted migrants.
Bear in mind guarda’s are not issued Guns or tazers.
(Link is a man who praises his god before attacking a guard in Dublin)

Praises his god before attacking... made me think of this...

Exactly right. I spent 22 years working in prisons in a state that sold its soul to the concept of DEI. While I did work with many women and minority people that were very good and I trusted completely, I also saw that promotions and supervisory positions were selected based entirely on how many "boxes they checked off." People that were known to make bad decisions were promoted because they were female, black, gay, foreign born, etc. Talent and ability didn't seem to be considered at all. The system was/is broken. I was happy to retire, but many talented people just left because the stress of dealing with the politics wore them out.

Sir, I think I have been writing to you about the purchase of the HK 639 rifle under an email "Tt Jake." If this is you, then I am truly interested. I am just trying to verify identify. Tt Jake is asking for a cash transaction. No disrespect intended, Just trying to verify who I am talking to. Thank you. Respectfully. Dan

Hey my friend, I am returning to SA for a Cape Buffalo hunt in June 26. My outfitter has suggested Highveld but I have read some poor reports. Wondering how satisfied you were with your mounts from them? Thanks in advance.
