Yes. But not on our nation's expense, except monetarily which is a decimal point as a percent of our yearly defense budget. Welcome to geopolitik.

Not to mention, Russia started this.
Diplomacy has never been my forte.

I’ll agree with you there, but if you’re the best player on the team, you’re expected to play the most minutes. It’s genuinely an American created problem, and whose economy has benefited most from a stable world post WW2?

Also, who was in Afghanistan with the Americans fighting a war that had ZERO national interest to their countries?
It's time for the bench warmer's to step up to the plate.
The Russian /Ukraine war is a very delicate situation for outside forces.
Anyone aside from the Ukraine attacking Russia directly on Russian soil could very well spark WW3. Put Putin's back against the wall, and he may very well get the Nukes warming up in the bullpen. Putin is an unknown quantity as to what he would do, and he uses that doubt to his advantage.
The only viable option for a quicker victory would be for other countries to bring in troops and heavy weaponry, and chase the Russians back home.
Extreme sanctions, and western europe cutting off business and trade ties with Russia would take time to come into full effect.
Waiting for Russian troops to deplete themselves, also depletes Ukrainian troops and lives. Double edged sword

After blowing up 4 narco terrorist boats, Maduro now says he is willing to talk with U.S envoys

Nah. ...keep pounding them. Maduro is a scumbag. He and his ilk have ruined that country.

I am beginning to wonder just a little if Trump may be becoming just as confused as Biden - only more intergenic.

For those suffering from Trump Adoration Syndrome, your assignment for tonight is to write a 500 page essay on the war between Cambodia and Armenia.

I have seriously wondered that several times about him, in his second term. Some of his "slips" are very baffling, IMHO.

Yeah.....we better invoke the 25th amendment for a Freudian slip.
Freudian Slip - an unintentional error in speech, memory, or action that reveals a hidden or repressed though, desire, or feeling from the unconscious mind.

I wonder what he is repressing, desiring, or feeling about Armenia?

No, I think it is far more likely that he was confused. Perhaps like he has been over the cause and progress of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Over the past week, I had a couple evenings with time to waste, and watched some of The Apprentice for kicks and giggles. Trump was the same person then as he is now: he talks in constant superlatives and absolutes... Everything is The Best, nothing like XYZ, always, never, bigly, I/me, etc., and even his hand gestures and mannerisms all seem the same as he does today.

Not that any of this directly relates to the topic above of him having gaffes/lapses. I just found it interesting.

Trump is a product of the City in which he was raised. When I was in the Army EVERY New Yorker acted the way he does. Deny it all they want, people from other parts of the Country can identify New Yorkers not just by their accent, but by the braggadocios attitude.

Trump was one of the most widely known Businessmen on the Planet before he ran for President. He was no mystery.

Now if you want to know the people that REALLY grind my gears, it's people from Massachusetts.

"I'm Senator Ted Kennedy from Massachusetts. Today I've introduced legislation to outlaw Assault weapons and the letter R! In Massachusetts, we have no need for such deadly and dangerous things."
"We eat with a fok"
"We walk in the pok"
"We go for a drive in the cah"

At another nations expense.

As I said, I'll take the lesser of two evils, which implies of course that both cases are evil.

Maybe if Trudeau hadn't decimated the Canadian military, you'd be bringing more game to the table and thus be more involved. This is an American created problem? Last I looked it was Putin who started this war.

I'll grant you however it was green lighted by a liberal Dem POTUS.

Sort of like when Obama referred to.his "Muslim faith?"

Gee whiz.....i can't comprehend why a man with the weight of the world on his shoulders would make such a horrible blunder, as confusing Armenia with Thailand.

Timothy McVeigh was not a group.
But an example of extreme right to point of mass murder....but one of the few examples compared to liberal left and their violent history. Seen this crap since 1968......very few ever held accountable.

Pretty sure James Earl Ray wasn’t a liberal.

Just saying I don’t think either side has a monopoly on mental illness which is what I think these murderers have in common. I’m not sure any of them are thoughtful enough to truly express the nuance of a philosophy. They have a mental illness and latch onto one side or the other.

And yet, the Left cheers on, advocates and excuses their killers while the Right just doesn't.

I wouldn't want him there either.

Whatever legitimate issues Khan may have had with Trump, he has acted in such bad faith in regards to him that it’s somewhat shocking that his invitation was even considered.

Perhaps this is one of those peculiar British things where he was invited for appearances with the understanding that he wasn’t to come after all?

In any case, his attendance would have been an unwelcome distraction to the event.

Hey my friend, I am returning to SA for a Cape Buffalo hunt in June 26. My outfitter has suggested Highveld but I have read some poor reports. Wondering how satisfied you were with your mounts from them? Thanks in advance.
