ZIMBABWE: Zimbabwe 2pipe Elephant Safari In The Save

I was only on Arda for a few k before we started our walk & stalk so I can't say much. The rain-season pans will prolly be dried up by then I would think so the animals will start to come to their customary water holes. We were told plenty of buffalo herds between 8-10k down the road from camp.

Congrats on your elephant and the other animals! The Save is certainly overrun with elephants, the devastation looks like a bomb has gone off in some areas. Made the giraffes leave-they can't run through the downed trees. Glad you took out at least one. I will be there in 90 days to help also. Thanks for the write-up!

Congratulations on a successful safari, thanks for posting a report.

Absolutely a grand hunt if ever there was one! Thanks for sharing such a fine adventure!

Congrats! Wonderful trophies!

Frank, I dont see a red dot on your double, did you take everything open sights?

Sorry Kevin was out of town.

No. Vanity made me take it off for the pics. I used a TRijicon RMR 2. Presbyopia won't allow me to do that and also shows its ugly head whenever I shoot my bow.....

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
