Would you like a Cigar?

Enjoying a Mark Twain “The Pen” while a storm that is blowing through has dropped the temperature 30° here in North Texas

Doing a little celebration. Wife and I bought some land, a total of 26 acres about 35 min away from our home. The place has tons of deer & turkey. We r super excited about it.

That’s awesome Oscar! Congrats on obtaining a dream of mine

Thank you Uncle Mort, wife and I finally did it after looking for quite some time. She found the property and said it was meant to be. Every time we’ve been there has been deer on the property and she said that was a good sign. Who am I to argue with that :ROFLMAO:

My friend Willie and I taking a well deserved smoking break after working hard clearing some of the overgrown stuff. This was last Saturday, heading out again in about 30 min to try and finish today. (y)

Watch out for those creepy crawlies

I really have to smoke a cigar this weekend, it has been a few weeks. Thanks for the encouragement brothers of the leaf ;)

We've had some strange weather here in GA; not that I'm complaining at all. Temps in the low 70s at night and mid 80s during the day. Unheard off for this time of the year.

This weekend we worked around the farm, and clearing around the trailer. This is on Sunday taking a well deserved break.

BTW, I didn't want to duplicate the pictures I'm posting on "We bought some land" thread. Here is the link if you want to follow that one too.

Where's the fish'n pole? LOL....

^^^^ I know, I know. I'm actually waiting for my grandbaby Harper to come visit so she could be the first one to catch fish out of the pond. One of my neighbors said to me that he has been throwing the excess bass he catches from his pond. He also stated that there are some big bass in my pond. Hopefully that it is true. :Finger:

Have cigars, will travel……….

If you ever on I-75 heading south, my house is 10 miles east from there. My humidors are always stocked, and have a wonderful cover patio we could sit and enjoy a cigar or two.

The new place will have a cigar lounge, shhhhh, don't tell my wife the name :ROFLMAO: I believe she has other ideas too. LOL!!!!

I had to try one too. Too early to give my opinion,. However, I’ve noticed that it is mild compared to the Nicaraguan My Father’s.

Let me know what you think about it. I had my second one last weekend, and i liked it more than the first.
It's the type of cigar that grows on you.

I liked the cigar and was consistently mild throughout, even burn, and nicely packed ash. The finish was ok, but I guess I was expecting the med/full body cigar I’m accustomed from the Nicaraguan My Father line. I would definitely get more and they would be a morning with coffee or early afternoon cigar where a full body cigar would be too much. (y) Thank you for getting me into them. :D

Been awhile gents! I see the brothers of the leaf are still smoking, The O man bought a nice place and I'm heading to Georgia for some fishing :ROFLMAO: Hope everyone is doing good

I have no idea the shipping cost from here to Costa Rica. I can do my research on shipping and get back with you later today.

I didn't see your request re: ship co’s. My last shipment was 2023. Quotes from SBS Logistics ($1,198), Badger Cargo ($1,184 - used them) & AHG Trophy Shippers ($1,746). AHG owner's an asshole so wouldn't have used him anyway. Eastern Cape - Houston, TX, so your mileage may vary. NEVER use Karl Human Taxidermy aka Wild Africa Taxidermy on Eastern Cape. Trophies arrived shattered with no padding/packing material.
