never gets anything like that cold here janey ,
but our spring and summer so far have been very confussing ,on Tuesday morning while we were unloading it was 34 c at 1000 ,by 1300 it was 16c and we had ,had an inch of rain its now 0935 Thursday and havnt seen the sun since ,

Enjoy it while it lasts. The storm that we're "enjoying" in Colorado is headed your way. Better dig out your long woolies. Tonight it's supposed to get to -24 C. It's not predicted to get above freezing until next Wednesday and the weather service is predicting that it should stop snowing by Monday. Enjoy. ;-)

We need to give Mike a break. He has a long wait until spring. Those short days can make people touchy. We wouldn't want to be responsible for him going bonkers this early in the winter.

Here in Page AZ (1 mile from Utah) it snowed today with a high of 37F, the snow doesn't stick to the ground but tomorrow will be a high of 27F. Shirt sleeve weather for those from Winnipeg I may head for Baja California, Mexico after DSC to get warm!

ive always thought all of America got covered up in snow during winter .
my daughter has always wanted to Christmas in the states so we can have a white Christmas.
but its almost dark there all day now , right ?

Nope. True for northern Alaska and Canada. In Colorado, on the shortest day of the year, the sun will rise at 7:20 and set at 16:39. There is plenty of snow at the ski resorts. The days are shorter as you move north, longer further south.

Last year we got about 6 inches lasted 2 days and was gone. weather here is really screwed up to day it 72 monday they are predicting 27 talk about ass backwards!
