Why are donkeys facing their 'biggest ever crisis'?

In the States the Chinese purchased Smithfield meat products, one of, if not the largest Pork processing company in the US. So when you buy that Christmas Ham...it is Chinese owned. Unbelievable when you think of it and the consequences down the road....Bacon, ham, and Pork products all from a Chinese owned company...Depending on demand from China, those products are shipped out and we the American public will be at the mercy of what available products and pricing are left over.

I guess the old saying "give a man a fish and you feed him for a day and teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime" applies here...

I believe the saying goes "build a man a fire, warm him for the night. Set a man on fire, warm him for the rest of his life"

we hit a donkey with one of our trucks in Botswana going up to hunt, it was at night and several were on the road and the edge of the road. lucky that only the donkey was killed.

a little OT, but here goes.

Fact is, the Chinese are better situated to deal with Africa & its corrupt governments.
There is almost no governing by means of compliance and transparency regulations. Leaving the door wide open for shady deals to take place. Exactly what the greedy fat cats prefer.
Have you ever herd of a scandalous exposure through international auditing on any Chines firm / company with consequences?

Unfortunately the Chinese corrupt & influence local cultures to be all about self preservation & very little for conservation.
I'm afraid Donkeys are but the tip of the iceberg.

Sir, I think I have been writing to you about the purchase of the HK 639 rifle under an email "Tt Jake." If this is you, then I am truly interested. I am just trying to verify identify. Tt Jake is asking for a cash transaction. No disrespect intended, Just trying to verify who I am talking to. Thank you. Respectfully. Dan

Hey my friend, I am returning to SA for a Cape Buffalo hunt in June 26. My outfitter has suggested Highveld but I have read some poor reports. Wondering how satisfied you were with your mounts from them? Thanks in advance.
Finally back to somewhat normal I missed reading the messages and posts
