Which South African animals to target

As far as I am aware, will certainly apologize if I'm wrong.
Very sad as that would boost the population and more land owners to make space for them keeping them seperate from breeding with Blesbuck.

I think I spoke too soon, had heard from others of hunting them a number of years ago and being problematical. Looked at some US Fish and Wildlife articles after you questioned this, looks like some extra steps to importing to the US? Someone with more experience will hopefully answer.

I am leaving next week on my first African hunt in South Africa. Watching the news and seeing what is going on this may be my last trip to South Africa before I go to other more stable countries. That is based on conditions in SA continuing to deteriorate. That being said, what should be my target animals that are readily available in SA but not so common in other countries.

Thanks in advance.
Don't watch the news and hunt everything you can. You will be back!

We are going to East Cape but also spending 4 days in Cape Town after the hunt. My honeymoon so we are going to be tourist.
How much time hunting? If you had the time and inclination, driving the Garden Route from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town is fantastic:)
