What would you consider is the ultimate species to hunt in africa?? Plainsgame and Big Five?? :elch:

Vaal Rhebuck -Seeing I don't hunt animals that could eat or stomp me I love the challenge of the vaal.

My ultimate plainsgame hunt would be for a Lesser Kudu in Tanzania's Maasailand.

An Elephant Bull in Botswana would be my choice for one of the Big 5.

If I could only win the lottery...:daydreaming:

Bushbuck is one of my favorites.

Plains game: Bongo
Big 5: Elephant

Bongo and lion.

(PG) Blue Wildebeest
(DG) Cape Buffalo

(dg) Leopard by a long margin for me the most challenging, and most rewarding hunt in Africa :)

(pg) bushbuck, strictly during the day!

Leopard,

and Zebra with bow via spot and stalk

Bongo and Elephant-Buffalo

Bongo and leopard.

Lord Derby Eland and Leopard would be mine...

DG-Leopard and not by baiting. Stalking/tracking one would great:)
PG-Lord Derby Eland by spot and stalk with a bow.

DG: I would say elephant(some day all of them)
PG: bushbuck

IMO opinion the best hunt is for tuskless cow in the thick jess.

IMO the greatest trophy is a tie between a big, old, dark maned lion or a 100 pound elephant.

I'm going to go with a Leopard and Bongo!!!!!

I would like to shoot a 70" Kudu ! 57 " is my biggest so far .

Leopard and Lord Derby Eland, although Lesser Kudu, Bongo and Sitatunga arent far down the list.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.

Hi EGS

I read your thread with interest. Would you mind sending me that PDF? May I put it on my website?
