What Watch do you wear when you hunt?

I like the price and looks of the Omega. Over Rolex. But I’m in the Casio G shock price range.
Lots of very nice lightly used watches out there at affordable prices. Many of the sites have filters so you can set a price limit and look at specific models that interest you.

@0002S - You have quite the collection of timepieces. The Seamaster 300 with the brown face is very interesting. Not to mention the number of rifles in the background ;)

@Altitude sickness - I thought the same thing about steel bracelets vs my hairy wrists…and you are correct for the most part. All the way up to the point that I started wearing an Omega dive watch. I’m not sure how they do it, but it doesn’t pull the hair out. The edges are very nicely rounded so it doesn’t bite into the skin either. I’ll take a better picture of the bracelet when I get home.

Its a great piece and has absorbed a ton of abuse. It was a gift from my wife when we were on a trip doing some sun and sand. Most people pay it no mind because it doesn't look like a Rolex, which is what many people believe is the pinnacle of watch making. The Omega brand is more under the radar, not quite so flashy. I'm sure that Swatch Group would love for Omega to garner the attention that Rolex does, but that's simply not the case.

The only time the PO isn't great is when the sun goes down and it's time for some really nice clothes. It's a little too thick to fit under a dress shirt sleeve, and wearing it outside of the sleeve doesn't look right. Maybe if I had a large wrist, but I'll pick up the (much thinner) Railmaster for the evening activities. It's important to my wife that I look good and have quality things to wear. Which is probably why she bought me two of my three Omegas. The other is a '74 SpeedMaster MK4.5 that was given to me by my father...my special occasion watch.

@Altitude sickness - Picture of the Omega PO links. You can see how they are rounded, not grabby at all. I've had more hair grabbing issues with the G-Shock resin strap, and that was one of the reasons I switched to a NATO style.

Beemer, you sold me. I’ll take it.

I’ve never had a metal band of that quality. That looks very robust

Yes, it's simply one of the finest, toughest dive watches ever made. I have the GMT version and it's wonderful. Great low-key choice, especially on a NATO strap.

I figured I would give this hybrid watch a try while I fought with the insurance company to replace my Omega that was torn off my wrist when I was in a head on collision. Funny they only found the watch band in the truck after it had been towed to the RCMP impound yard. Anyway, I've worn this Withings Horizon hybrid for a year now, and I have been pretty happy so far. Up to 30 days battery life.

Sir, I think I have been writing to you about the purchase of the HK 639 rifle under an email "Tt Jake." If this is you, then I am truly interested. I am just trying to verify identify. Tt Jake is asking for a cash transaction. No disrespect intended, Just trying to verify who I am talking to. Thank you. Respectfully. Dan

Hey my friend, I am returning to SA for a Cape Buffalo hunt in June 26. My outfitter has suggested Highveld but I have read some poor reports. Wondering how satisfied you were with your mounts from them? Thanks in advance.
Finally back to somewhat normal I missed reading the messages and posts
