I’m about halfway through this one myself. I think it’s the second time I’ve read it. It’s a good read.

Just started Death in the Long Grass by Capstick. It definitely starts with some "Action".

Many mention it. I figure I need to read it.

Yep, I looked for “African Buffalo Trails”. I found 2, but both were bought within an hour. One was $195.00, it was in “good” shape and the other was $137.00 in fair condition.

“The Last Buffalo Hunter” by Mary Weekes. From Interviews taken in 1931, Norbert Welsh was a young man making his living trading and hunting on the Canadian plains in the late 1800’s. Indian raids, furs and robes, hunting accidents, red river carts, rebellion, huge herds, grand adventure, it’s all here.
