Wanted African Creations Shooting Sticks (3 Piece)

Jim’s (African Sporting Creations) sticks are great. I’ve purchased two sets. I’ve also gone to Home Depot and purchased wooden dowels and made my own. Jim’s are hands down better (smaller diameter, break down etc) and the wood has character.

…and bipod instead of tripod.

For those of you that wanted to see a photo of my homemade shooting sticks, here is a link to the post I submitted previously. https://www.africahunting.com/threads/which-shooting-sticks.43934/post-460135

I stated in my initial post on this subject that I used 1/2" hardwood dowel rod. That was incorrect I used 5/8" hardwood dowel. I made them in 2015, obviously I'd forgotten some of the details, please forgive me. LOL It would probably be a good idea to seal the dowel rods to prevent them from absorbing moisture and swelling.

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ

What is the minimum you would take.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
