Whenever they market one with a rib and recesses for Talley mounts, I'll gladly pay the price - even a premium. I will not have a hideous rail on a "classic" stalking rifle. And at my age I need a scope.

They do offer as an accessory a solid base with sight only. Suppose it could be cut for whatever rings a guy wanted.

@Tom Leoni has there been any progress?

Indeed. I'd just like some reassurance that the rifle is capable if the handloader does their part.
I have every confidence, having shot many Uberti made rifles and handguns that it will acceptably accurate, which to me for such a rifle is at least 1.5 MOA, hopefully nearer 1 MOA.

I wont know for a week or so, dont have it yet.

Is that a 6 shot group or two 3 shot groups? Load info?

Sorry couldn't load picture and ad comment. So thanks @sestoppelman . I felt guilty last week after your comment on not shooting my Courteney. Took it out tonight . Only had some OLD Fed and Win ammo. Top right group is Win 180 Power Point and left is Fed 150 Power Shock. Both at 1" at 100yds. I am very happy! Trigger pull is very good. The only thing I noticed is with the long light barrel it has a lot of muzzle flip. Now TOM if you will make a 7x57 put me 1st in line.

That looks good, though it wasnt me admonishing you for not shooting it yet.
Mine is stalled in shipment with the holiday, and UPS tried to send it in the wrong direction, but is said to be on the way so probably late next week or early part of week after, sigh.

I think we would all be happy if ours shoot that well.

Tom told me a couple of years ago that it had to be rimmed cartridge. I was with you on wishing it was available in 7x57 or .275 Rigby.

I am righthanded, so not interested in the rifle, but I have a 375 RUM and 350 gr bullet loading data is very hard to come by. If you could reply with information regarding your loads I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Ray Boone, Leavenworth, WA

Hello - I was looking at your post from several years ago regarding the Winchester 300 H&H. Any chance you still have the lefty M70 300 H&H for sale?
Thank you, Mike

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
