Good call Johnny!

I just wanted to thank everyone for their opinions, insight , input and jokes. This was a fun thread even though at times I was more confused than when I started. Want to wish everyone a safe and productive season. I look forward to the photos and reports from members.

And the antis will say very soon that because there are not 50,000 Pygmy Hippo in the wild that they are endangered. Therefore, all hippo will need to be put on the up listing track and taken out of available animals to hunt.

Thank you @spike.t for providing the needed picture evidence!

Get your hippo now folks!

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
