Tight Bolt & Line On Casing

Too late. You will need to flush it clean and blow out the fine wire bits.

Yes. Cleaning it good after doing this. I just used a standard wire brush on the chamber where it was getting stuck (no steel wool).
Good idea. Will try. I’m thinking but as well.
also, just realized I never finished this sentence, but now I have no clue what I was thinking about doing. I guess that’s the issue with being stupid.

You say “fixed”. Hmm…. OK…. I still can’t follow what the issue was. Unclear why some snap cap dummy or ammo fit into chamber and some snap cap dummy’s didn’t. Makes no sense. To think that steel wool will remove a steel burr in the chamber seems a stretch to me. Barrel steel is tough and hard- much harder than steel wool, which is soft steel. It might remove a particle of something stuck on the chamber wall but actually abrade away a steel burr..?

A simple way to actually view the chamber of any firearm without having a bore scope is to use a simple thin mirror and bore light. I had some broken mirror pieces in the shop? Picked out a piece a couple inches long and about the width of a popsicle stick and epoxied it to a popsicle stick.

Put gun in cradle. Put bore light in muzzle. Hold mirror next to rear of chamber at angle so you can look into chamber along bore axis. Amazing how simple and how well this works for viewing a chamber. :)

I genuinely cannot figure it out, but it cycles much better now. I have a borescope coming in the mail that I will check it with this week. If any additional filing is needed, I will take care of that then.

:) I also have one of those- if referring to the little OD, right angle periscope. I found the simple, thin mirror works better and gives better view, I think because it can be placed closer to area to be viewed and fits into the breech area of most actions.

I’ll get a picture of mine later, they are packed away atm. One is a post ww1 British brass bodied one and the other is a tube that goes in the bolt raceway and you look through it, though the light mirror needs cleaning on that one.

Do you mind me asking what auction you are referencing? I'm not in the market for any of those rifles...just curious.
