Thought Provoking Question: How Many Of You Would Use A Smaller Calibre If It Were Legal?

I'd probably use a lighter than .375 H&H for some dangerous game hunting if I happened to live in good African hunting country with plenty of opportunities. A .338 Win or 9.3x62 would seem like a good alternative for a resident hunter with plenty of time to hunt and who can wait to choose a proper shot opportunity.
While hunting with a costly outfitted long distance foreign hunt in a once in a lifetime situation? The cost and inconvenience of using and training with a specially dedicated big bore rifle is minor compared to the overall trip planning and cost. Just suck it up and buy the correct firearm for the job, or rent one.

Not sure your price range. Have a 375 H&H with a muzzle brake. Nice rifle only fired a few times. Also a Mossberg 375 Ruger its been used and shows a few hunts on it.
