Anyone using this system or something similar?

I have used the mantis with both a pistol and the AR-15. The pistol system I have is the Mantis X10 and it provides great feedback to correct/improve your shooting, the drawback is you have to manually reset the slide each shot, so to put a string of shots together is not easy. The Blackbird that is used with an AR type firearm does reset the trigger and offer similar feedback.

They have worked great and I would recommend them, just know the functionality going in.

The Mantis is a great tool to get instant feedback on what your muzzle is doing. Before, during trigger squeeze and after the shot. Recoil management.

Great dry and live fire training aid.

Worth every penny

Mantis works great. The device attaches on the muzzle on your rail then transmits any movement before, during and after the trigger squeeze.

So it will tell you where your muzzle was when the trigger breaks. Translating to proper index, grip, etc.

I like the Mantis because it gives feedback on which way the muzzle moved during the squeeze and at the shot during live fire. And tells if grip or index is wrong.

Too much of a strike man type device can reinforce improper form.

Say you dry fire using the strike man pro. And you are more concerned about getting 10s than proper grip so you are loosely holding the gun and concentrating on squeezing the trigger,

Then you move to the range and the gun is flying out of your hand and after the second shot, you’re flinging lead all over the place.

The mantis can be used in your house and live fire

Jerome, do you think my last post in rough camping must maybe shift as an article?

Good afternoon,

I'm trying to get in contact with Mr Butch Searcy. I have the opportunity to buy one of his rifles chambered in 577 nitro Express however the seller does not have any of the paperwork with the information about what ammunition or bullet weight was used to regulate it. I know he is not making firearms anymore but I wanted to reach out after seeing one of your post about him.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes
Daryl
