Those are indeed incredible reports. Like you, Mrs. Rimbaud and I have had so much fun traveling on hunts. For years, we would spend part of October at a friend's place in Lincolnshire for driven birds. We would always start in London, staying at the Goring or one of the grand hotels, and then load up on port and wine at Berry Brothers, and grab Cubans from JJ Fox, which supplied Churchill, so we could arrive with fun gifts for the hosts. We Americans have to represent, and represent well. We always had a big group of couples on those hunts, and also the one time that we went up to Scotland, near the Mull of Kintyre, for Sika. To this day, those are some of the best trips I've ever taken. I'm very excited to hunt Spain. The current plan is to hunt Gredos Ibex to the north of Madrid, and Mouflon in Toledo. Our son will join us, and he will hopefully have the chance to hunt boar. The little man needs to earning his hunting stripes. I love looking forward to these trips, and planning the itinerary. I am always stunned at the wealth of information that exists on this website, and the willingness of the members to share experiences and insights. I'm also stunned at how much money I've spent because of the members on the site, including a Blaser R8, optics, gear, and trips all over the world!
