Last week I had a last minute "once in a lifetime opportunity" to hunt an injured buffalo. Unfortunately hunting a specific buffalo is much harder than I thought and I ran out of time. I ended up loosing my deposit but it was well worth the experience. So I am just wondering is anyone interested in hearing about a buffalo hunt that was a bust?

Absolutely. If you hunted hard and enjoyed yourself then it was a successful hunt regardless of the outcome.

Never hunted buffalo, but I had a kudu hunt that came right down to the last minute of a 10-day hunt. If only there had been an 11th day!

Yes, we love hunt reports! Please share your whole hunt report with us!

Sure, why not?

Let's hear it man!

Would love to hear about it. For me, hunting is about the chase, the kill is not required (but is a nice way to finish things).

brushmore, I sure am interested! I'll bet it was a real adventure. Please tell us the story.

Of course, please share.

Yes, sounds a bit strange that you lost money on a last minute, opportunity on an injured buffalo.

It's a hunting story man. Tell it. :A Popcorn:

You must remember that's why we call it hunting!!!

Light it up, pour a cold one and share your adventure with us:D Beers:

Thanks all, I'll do a proper write up and have something later today. :A Thumbs Up:

Everyone one of us has been on unsuccessful hunts in our time. Absolutely share your experience.

a little louder please.

We are waiting man!!! Kevin

When I saw the title, I thought it was going to be about a bongo hunt and pygmy trackers.

No shame in not getting a buff, I hunted 10 days in Zim with PH John Sharp and didn't close the deal. Still had a great time and as it is often said, that's why they call it hunting.

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.
