Last summer I took my son to hunt pigs in OK. He has always wanted to hunt them since he was a baby... he is 12 now. He took a nice boar and the meat isn't bad at all. The taxidermist called the other day to let me know his European was ready to be picked up. Also that it had been shot in the face with a shotgun. Now we have an interesting conversation piece let alone a nice trophy. There is one pellet to the right of the left eye, 2 in the nostril and the one on top of the nose. The hole in the top of the nose above the pellet is damage from the shot also. Maybe he was raiding a crop and a farmer took a shot or someone came across him and took a shot? Who knows, but this kid is off to a good hunting career. He recovered the bullet from his first big game animal and someone else's shot from his second. Animals are tough and I, as well as my son have immense respect for them.

Congratulate your son for his pig.

I love shooting them, our european boars and the african warthog.

Very cool, keep the boy in the woods!

It was a nice pig! Congrats

Congrats to your Son that is one fine Trophy Boar.

Also worth noting is the very fine job your taxi has done on the skull.
Well cleaned and bleached and obviously not over-boiled.
Stick with that guy, he knows what he's doing !

The pig that keeps on giving. Crunched on a pellet today. More keeps sakes! I wonder how many times this guy was shot? A roast with 1 nonnutriciative ingredient.

Looks delicious! I may need one of those euromounted. Looks very nice.
Keep that young hunter out there! He did excellent!

So much for hunting pigs with a shotgun!!! I'll stick with a rifle thank you.

Hog hunting is a great way to get kids and grandkids into hunting. I break out into a chuckle every time I think about how my middle grandson told everyone in camp about the "perfect" shot he made on his hog.

Just wanted to say thanks for the excellent customer service. Ordered some 9.3x62 brass and the delivery was a little short. An email through your website Contact Us link was replied to the next day with the tracking info for the correction. Good pricing coupled with great customer service will see returning customers every time. Thanks again!
